Narayan Murthy is an Indian entrepreneur who founded Infosys, a global consulting and IT services company based in Bangalore, India. He was born in 1946 in Mysore, India and received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering and M.Tech from the University of Mysore and IIT Kanpur respectively.
