What new insights I have gained is that it is important to look at the factors that may cause
sundowning in each person because factors that may be a part of sundowning could be different

Lorraine Hansberry was born May 19th, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois. She was the youngest of
seven children, and was the granddaughter of a slave. Her mother was a school teacher, and her
father was a real estate broker. In 1938, her family moved to an all white neighborhood and were
victims of racist crimes and violence. They refused to move until the Supreme Court ruled in
favor of Lee in the Hansberry v. Lee case. With the judge ruling in favor of Lee, who sued so that

In McCloskey s (1968) article On Being an Atheist , the arguments for the existence of God are
rebutted and some compelling reasons are given in order to enlighten some other atheists who
might be struggling to defend their beliefs. Firstly, McCloskey (1968) opens his discussion by
asserting that the three main proofs (teleological, cosmological, and argument from design) of God
s existenceare not the basic nor the right proofs with which to arrive at a vague (p.51) conclusion
that states the existence of a necessary being. These proofs have not been considered by the
serious theologians, but instead, they have been the excuse of the parson (McCloskey, 1968).
However, McCloskey misses the point made by such arguments by assuming that such defenses are
a definite proof of the existence of God. To regard something as a proof, one must know that the
argument being made is certain and incorrigible, but the arguments made by the theist are said to
be defeasible, not incorrigible or certain (Foreman, 2012). This mean that the arguments can be

could basically even try to get over my own fear of going up in the hot air balloon we were
already on our way there. The best thing about it was is that where the hot air balloon place was,

Consistency in the Sun, Line, and Cave Plato s theory of the Forms showcases that acquiring
knowledge involves turning away from the world of senses and moving towards the Forms/world
of intellect. Within Plato s Republic there are three analogies: the sun, line, and cave, which are
intended to clarify how things experienced in the sensible world are less real than the Forms. All
three analogies are consistent through their descriptions of the differences between the
intelligible and sensible worlds. The usage of all three also enables Plato to guide readers
through the knowledge process, starting with a simple description of the sun and ending with a
full example of how man can reach that sun. Plato starts with the analogy of the sun, which
points out the contrast between the visible and the intelligible worlds. Within the visible world
man has eyes and objects to be seen, but man needs another object for the eyes to see the object.
This object is the sun, which provides the light that is required by the eye to view the visible
world. In correspondence, the Form of the Good in the intelligible world is equal to the sun by
the way that the Good allows the forms to be known. Plato specifically states, What gives truth to
the things known and the power to know to the knower is the Form of the Good. And though it is

Marching Band is, in most high schools, on the fringes of society. Those instrument toting kids
spend countless hours fine tuning their skills, only to receive little respect from the rest of the
students. They are called band nerds. They are laughed at. And yet they persist. But why? Why not
give into the mainstream high school culture and join football or cheer leading? Why spend

my limited knowledge of high school marching bands. So, I decided to use my budding role as
anthropologist to find out.
My first step was to select a marching band to study. Luckily, the local high school, Goshen High
School, has an excellent marching band which has competed at the state level for the last
decade. A friend of mine at Goshen College who was a member of the band helped me to contact
