2. Dale Guy Madison
For the bulk of Dale’s life, he has used his life experiences and his love of
arts to educate audiences.
He has inspired young men and women to live their truth by telling their
story through the arts. He dares them to dream!
As a young black kid growing up in the 60’s, Dale had so many dreams of
what he wanted to be and do. He wanted to be an actor, a model, a dancer,
an artist, and a fashion designer. Through all of his talents, his driving force
was:
– to make a difference in the lives of people and
– to inspire people, both young and old, to live their truth.

4. Teaching Through Arts Education
Dale Madison truly believes art imitates life and sees the importance of
giving today’s youth an outlet to express what and who they are. He uses
art exercises and performances to teach self esteem. Learning to love
oneself, and how sharing life experiences is both healing and therapeutic
Mr. Madison co-founded Actors Against Drugs and Umoja Sasa
Storytelling. These two organizations traveled up and down the east coast
focusing on the risk of using drugs and the importance of cultural identity,
all while instilling pride, inspiring youth to be better citizens in their
communities and teaching audiences how educational theater changes lives.
Now Mr. Madison has created “My Life In Three Easy Payments, The
Series” that is designed to help young men and women who are LGBTQ find
their true VOICE.
5. Published Author
Dale Madison has published two books. The first is his memoir entitled,
“Dreamboy: My Life as a QVC Host & Other Greatest Hits.” The book takes a
honest look at his journey to become the man he is today.
His second publication, an adult gay fairy tale entitled, “The Friendship Train,”
takes an old favorite (The Wizard of Oz) and puts a new spin on it. In this
whimsical illustrated fable, Madison uses gay stereotypes to teach the importance
of acceptance, being a friend, loving oneself while educating the reader about
important figures in LGBT history.
Both books celebrate Dale’s personal mission to embrace life as an openly gay
man, and to uplift, inspire, entertain, and educate.
Mr. Madison holds a BA and an MA in Education with a focus on leadership and
