My double page spread
    development
1st Draft

I thought about using a photo on just
one page and having the other page
look something like this, I thought this
would be simple but I didn’t think that
it would be bold enough.
2nd Draft

I then thought about writing the text over the
background of the image but then realise it
would not be clear and easy to read.
3rd Draft

I liked the idea of the pull out quote,
and so played around with headings
colours and titles.
4th Draft

I added the opaque box and thought that in
whole it would be better white and with
pure boxes of colour
5th Draft
I added coloured boxes and wrote my
article carrying on the theme of the
lines from my content pages. Also
though the tour date added an extra
device to lure an audience in to the
magazine.
6th draft

My intended audience cross section said that the
block of colour didn’t make the magazine look
classy so I took 2 away and moved my pull out
quote. I also changed the masthead as I looked at
other magazine with my genre and not many have
the artists name this is usually in the sub line of the
article. as well as this I added a drop letter.
FINAL

I added effects like the emboss tool like
on my contents page and front cover to
define feature such as the artists name
and the masthead and the pull out quote.
I formatted the text and finalised the
details.
