2. The magazine genre which I
have chosen to make is Rap as I
find it easier to relate to. The
reason is that I have grown up
with rap artist playing in the
background, this gives me an
advantage as I am the target
audience. I will stick to the
colour scheme of rap magazine
of bright colours as I want to
appeal to my target audience.

3. The music genre that I have chosen to do is Rap. The best
known magazines for this genre is XXL, VIBE and RWD.
The known artist of these genres are people like 2 pac, Jay Z
and 50 Cent.
The target audience is late teens and early adults as this is
the age where they are exposed to these types of music and
artist. Its quite varied between an audience if both girls and
boys as many female artist are breaking into the game.

4. The simple colours are used which are
mainly grey, red and white.
Masthead uses all caps until the letter ‘’E’’.
This allows the main image to stand out.
Lead image is Trey Songz and he fits in the
colour scheme as he is wearing white
underwear .
Mostly Ariel bold, and it’s all in caps, this
shows that everything is important and
allows it to stand out more.
The sub tittles all use large caps and bold
text so that it is easy to read.
Also fits in with the colour scheme
