3. This is one of the first picture I took. I like my models appearance and I believe it in some ways infers he in the music industry despite no musical instruments or equipment being involved. However, I don’t like his facial expression. This is because he I looking downwards which could give the connotation of unhappiness with is what I do not want to infer.
4. I wasn’t too keen on this picture in comparison to others I took because his posture is odd, for example, one hand is fully in his pocket yet the other isn’t. I also find that his facial expression is quite moody and he doesn’t appear ready overall for the picture. In addition to this, the picture wasn’t taken at a straight angle and this is noticeable as you can see a grey bar getting wider to the left hand side and also, some lines on the shutters aren’t straight. However, I do like the fact there is eye contact in this image and also that he is wearing a wristband from a music festival, in this case Leeds Festival, to signify music.
5. This is the picture I eventually decided to use on the front cover of my magazine. This I because he is making eye contact with the camera, his Leeds Festival is on show to signify music and also, the graffiti in the background helps draw you to the main subject.

7. I didn’t like this picture because I felt my model looked uncomfortable in this situation as his shoulders appear raised. I am also not keen on the background and feel you are drawn away from the subject as it is quite busy.
8. I liked this picture. I felt the posture and overall appearance of my model gives the connotation he is a solo-artist, again, with Leeds Festival wristband on show to infer music. However, the swear word scratched on the back of the door made me feel it would be acceptable to use in a magazine aimed from a teenage upwards audience, even though many are likely to know of this word. However, if I wanted to used this image, it would be quite easy to make it so it is not visible using a couple of tools on Abode Photoshop.
9. Despite the blurring of the hands in this picture, I decided to use it on my double page spread. This is because I like how it show movement in the picture. Also, I like how my model is styled with his jacket zipped all the way up and brand logo on show, a similar style to some artists in the music industry.
10. I do like this picture and did consider using it on my double-page spread or contents page. However, the lighting merges in with my model and areas of the background. In addition to this, my model is looking downwards and doesn’t look too comfortable in this position.
11. This is a picture I took for my double page-spread however, after some consideration, I decided to use it on my contents page. I like this picture because I feel the lighting is good and draws you into the centre of the picture. In addition to this, the model is making eye contact with the camera.

14. These are several images I have taken at gigs such as The Courteeners, Jack Penate and at Leeds Festival. These will be useful for my contents page, front cover and double-page spread. However, due to the poor quality camera I used at some of these gigs, the quality of the pictures was effected and resulted in either blurring, too much or lack of light.
