2. Comparison
- When doing the cover page for my preliminary task I’ve learnt all basic conventions for a magazine.
Doing this helped me progress for my music magazine because it helped me plan the layout and how
would I achieve it.
- The preliminary task helped me choose the font choice for my music magazine, when I was
choosing a font I had to chose it by the genre and think if it would be appealing for the audience. I
don’t the same thing to my music magazine by finding an electric genre font.
- Doing the preliminary task help me develop my knowledge on colour choices. On my magazine I
chose the colours according to the context being shown to the reader, when I was doing my article
page I chose to do a dark theme, this is because the main image is set at night and has a midnight
theme to it.
3. - when I was doing my preliminary task, I’ve developed
my knowledge on targeting specific audience. For the
preliminary task I had to target students aged 15-19,
I’ve achieved this by using similar word group what a
teenager would normally say or hear.
