On the 21st of March we visited the Museum Of
London in Docklands

3. This is a video I saw about how the slaves weren’t aloud to keep their name
or speak in there own language. This shows how harshly the slaves were
treated.
4. Today we visited the ‘Museum Of London – Docklands’. This was part of
our research, it was primary research as we went to find out
information. I found this trip useful as it helped me understand more
about how slaves were treated in the 18th Century. Before we went to
the museum I done my research and found out the main thing I wanted
to see was William Ansah Sessarakoo. Although my end product may
not be on slaves in the 18th century I still found this visit useful as it
helped me learn more about Africans coming to Britain. Another thing
which I found interesting was how the had a section which had all the
slaves from the West Indies’ name and date of birth.
