- 9. Dividend- the number to be divided Divisor- the number that divides the dividend. Quotient- the answer
- 10. Examples: 1.10÷2= N 2. 6÷ 3= N Follow the steps in dividing 1. 10÷2= ? Step 1: Divide dividend by the divisor 10÷2=5 Step 2: Multiply quotient and the divisor 5x 2= 10 Step 3: Subtract dividend and the product.

- 14. Word Problem There are two siblings whose names are Ara and Sean. Ara has 8 candies. She wants to give Sean an equal share of the candies. How many candies will Sean receive?

- 16. Division and multiplication are inverse operations. Finding the qoutient in division is the same as finding the missing factor in multiplication. We can never divide by 0- any value divide by 0 is equal to 0 REMEMBER:
