Types of films shown They would show more mass audience films
because they want to show the most
anticipated films because those films would
get them the most profit. They would show
films which would of had a bigger budget
and will be the most attractive to the
audience.
They would show some mass audience films
but not too many because they may not
have the money to show those types of
films so they are more likely to show films
with less budgets and not as much
anticipation from the audience.
Audience They would have a mainstream audience
who would want to see the most talked
about films.
They would have an audience who don’t
follow the crowd and will see films because
they appeal to them.
Location They are usually out of town because they
need space to accommodate for parking.
Usually in a town.
Issues They would be under pressure to show the
most recent films and make the most money
possible for the film maker because of the
films big budget. They would also face
competition from other multiplexes nearby.
They would face issues with piracy because
they may not have enough money to show
the film. A massive competition between
the multiplex cinemas because they need to
compete with the multiplex cinemas.
