IBDP CAS Trip to Rishikesh
The 12th grade students from the school went on a mandatory CAS trip from October 11th to October 13th. 45 students and 5 teachers traveled by bus to Tehri, where they had bonfires and performances in the evening. The next day, they went trekking and then traveled to Rishikesh, where they went white water rafting before relaxing by the bonfire. On the final day, they played volleyball before departing sadly for Delhi around 11am, stopping for lunch before arriving back at the school at 11pm. The trip created lasting memories and experiences in nature for the students.

Esther describes her experience at a 3-day Aussie bush camp. On the first day, they did challenging activities like crawling through muddy tunnels and indoor rock climbing. They had hot chocolate and cookies afterwards. The second day included climbing wooden and metal ladders and doing archery. They had a campfire in the evening. Nic hated eating oatmeal every day for breakfast because he thought it was tasteless, gloppy and mushy, but his Uncle George showed him how to make oatmeal fun by adding fruit, syrup and spices to create faces and shapes, which Nic enjoyed making into the shape of a car. After seeing how enjoyable oatmeal could be when customized with toppings, Nic knew he would no longer dislike eating oatmeal.

ON March 15, 2019. It was a colourful and memorable day for the Friends from Day School, Workshop and Autism Centre. Our Founder Director Dr. Neelima Desai organized a whole day picnic in Thergaon for everyone. There were many activities like boating, Hula Hoops, slide, and swings. The area was surrounded by greenery and pleasant air. There was also a lake, Pawna Lake.

- 3. Every Sunday, I spend my day with my Family members that is with my father, mother and younger sister. The day is full of activities with loads of fun. I eagerly wait for Sundays!!
- 5. Early in the morning, we all go for a morning walk! Later while returning, we buy some fruits and vegetables. Then after taking a bath, we all pray to God for good day and good health! Later we have breakfast like sandwiches and fruits. I have to drink milk everyday!
- 7. Later my mother takes some rest while I and my father fly kites with some of my colony friends! I enjoy that time as it is the only day when my father can be with us! When we return tired, my mother gives us juice so that we can get energy and feel fresh again! Later we all play carrom as an indoor activity!
- 9. In the afternoon, my mother prepares some delicious lunch which include Rice, Dal and Vegetables! We also have salad and pickles with it! The food on Sundays is usually very special and loved by all!
- 10. Lunch-Time!!
- 11. After a splendid lunch, we all took some rest! Then at 4 p.m. we decided to go to a nearby park for a walk and some rides. We sat on a bench and talked about me and my sister’s school. In the evening, we all had some road-side snacks and my father got us Chocolate ice-creams!
- 12. I scream.. U scream… We all scream for ICE-CREAMS!!
- 13. At night my father gave us a wonderful surprise. He planned to take all of us for dinner at my favorite restaurant. We all ate North Indian cuisine. Then we all came back home by car.
