Title: My holiday.
During my last summer holidays for about three weeks, I spent a few days at my
grandparent’s house and my cousin’s house at Sri Aman with my family. I shall
never forget about that visit. My family and I went to there by 1June which is the
first day of Hari Gawai.
Early in the morning, after settle down all of our stuff and enjoying our
breakfast, we start our journey. I proudly be a volunteer to be a driver on this trip,
I started to drove by around 8:30am from my hometown which is Sebuyau. We
took around 4 hours to reach the destination. Along the trip the car is full with
laughter because everyone felt very excited which is this is the best time for us to
take rest and relax after busying our home business.
We take our lunch at there with others relatives which is also just arrived
at my grandparents house. Everyone enjoy the lunch happily by chit chat. Around
two pm in the afternoon, my uncle from kuching proudly announces that he will
bring us to waterfall which is a stone throw from Sri Aman. All of us cheer up
loudly and go to packing our bag like a lightning speed because everyone is very
exicited heading to there.
We took around twenty minutes only to reach there. There was beautiful
stretch of road along our way to waterfall. Lined with palm trees and beautiful
flowers which surrounded by the butterflies and bees. It was wonderful. The
waterfall was simply exotic. Everyone enjoyed the crystal clear and fresh water
very much. After swimming and splash in the water we had our afternoon tea.
All of us reached home at night, though everyone is felt tired and
exhausted but still showing a bright smile on face because we will celebrate our
grandparents birthday on that night. There are steamboat, seafood, caramel cake,
and others delicious food waiting for us. Before starting to fill our stomach, all of
the relatives singing the “Happy Birthday” song together and wish our
2. grandparents have a blessing years. After that, we start to feast on the dainties.
All of us enjoyed the food very much, everyone is over the moon at that day.
I feel very grateful for having this wonderful moment at Sri Aman. I
thanked to all my relatives, my grandparents and my family for this lovely holiday
and all the love and affection we had shared as family members on this trip
together. This holiday shall be the memorable and unforgetable holiday of my life.
