I am wearing this here hat & I am proud to be amongst people to admire my makeup &
design. I am like you & I am me. I wear my clothes; I look like I fit in & belong. I have
great character & care about my life. I have great concern about my beautifulness and my
appearance. So I wear all of my hats because I am cool like that. As I look into the mirror
at myself I see my mom, dad, grandmother & my family. I can remember the sun on our
garden & the fresh look of the lawn. I remember the sun tea on the back porch. And the
fresh laundry. Up by sun up & down by noon. I remember the fresh paint & brushes on a
good sunny day. I Played in our neighborhood. By the evening we had fun. With all of
our cousins & friends. We had good natural fun. We enjoyed our family. We had
homemade ice cream & popsicles. Home popped corn with special seasoning. Famous
dinners & get together, honey we have lived in this life.
