Connect the red of the coax cable from CH1 to the PROBE COMP lug just below
the WAVEFORM OFF button to the left of the CRT screen. The ground clip on the

calibrating signal should now be displayed on the CRT.
Manipulating the Waveform:
Locate the VERTICAL POSITION knob directly above the VERTICAL MENU
button and observe the effect of this control on the display. Repeat this procedure for
the SCALE knob directly below the HORIZONTAL MENU button.
Bring up the vertical menu on the CRT display by pushing the VERTICAL MENU
button directly below the VERTICAL POSITION knob. The COUPLING DC
menu item should be highlighted in the lower left hand corner of the CRT display.

input signal coupling. Observe the effect of switching between DC and AC

The author explores the idea of death, and how people are afraid of it up until they
ve lived long enough to not be afraid of it any longer. It wasn t hard for me to
discern the significance of this poem. I don t mean to boast about myself but rather
to highlight the fact that this poem is written very simply, even though the poem is
of a heavy topic. Because of this, I feel that the poem seems to give off a natural
feeling when reading. I believe that because the poem is so casual, it only emphasizes

In the first stanza, the author is expressing how this idea of being afraid of death for
