As per 2014 survey, Nokia employs 101,982
people across 120 countries, conducts sales in
more the
150 countries, and report annual revenues of
around €30 billon. By 2012 it was the world’s
second largest mobile phone maker in terms of
unit sales (after Samsung)
Over the past 150 years, Nokia has evolved
from a riverside paper mill in south western
Finland to a global telecommunications leader
connecting over 1.3 billion people.
By 1963, it starts developing radio telephone
for the arm and emergency service, Nokia is
the third largest in manufacturing of TV
3. OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
• To know about the market trend of Nokia within BK
school OF Business Management.
• To know form which model of Nokia student shift to
which model of Nokia?
• To know about behavior of the young generation of
BK school toward cell phone.
• To know about the comparison of Nokia with other
player by the student.
• To know according the students of BK school OF
Business Management that which player is the
market leader now day in manufacturing of the cell
phone
4. INTERPRETATION
• As our survey was in BK school and data
collection was based on primary research and
our more focuses were more on to know
about the % users of Nokia through comparing
Nokia with other companies handset. our
finding shown that Nokia is the second after
Samsung which has more user in our college.
5. SUGGESTION TO NOKIA
• If Nokia want to enhance its market share at colleges
and other educational institutes so our suggestion to
the company is to improve its brand through public
relationship which is sponsoring some of the event
of the colleges like fresher's parties, Garba, farewell
parties and so on, this may help the company to
make more customer in young generations.
