We need quick, standardized, and agile handling of metadata profiles. This includes the ability to quickly create and maintain many metadata profiles, define metadata formally and standardized according to frameworks, and handle versioning of profiles. We also need to share and get feedback from the community on metadata profiles and vocabularies through registries. This will help with the discovery, maintenance, and handling of multiple versions of metadata profiles and vocabularies across tools and services.
