We hope this will help you take the first steps in managing
your money and achieving your goals, whatever your
personal circumstances are.

3. ➔ This course is for anyone who would like to know more about financial
literacy and improve their money smarts. If that’s you, then welcome!
➔ There are no prerequisites – you don’t need to have any special skills or
knowledge, or take any other courses in order to enrol.
➔ The course is only available in English at the moment – we’ve tried to keep
things clear and simple!
➔ This is an online course, so you do need to be able to use a computer or
smartphone. If you need some help with that, we suggest visiting the
Wandsworth Council Community Centre, where assistants are available
to help you with any technical questions. You can also use the computers
here for free

✓ set personal financial goals and make an action plan to achieve

5. To pass this course, you’ll need to:
✓ find some time to study: about 4 to 6 hours a week, for the next 2 weeks
✓ complete all the units by reading or watching the material and clicking the
‘Complete / Continue’ button when you’re done. On some units, you’ll need
to answer a question before you can move on.
(NOTE: activities marked ‘Optional’ are not required for completion)
✓ complete all tests, assignments and projects within the deadlines given
✓ take part in the course discussions - please remember to keep things polite
and constructive
