Dionysian Research Paper
An art form that contains both Apollonian and Dionysian characteristics is rap music. Although rap
music has been categorized by some as rowdy and to some extent pointless, there are some songs
that contain both. Rap music for the most part has a much stronger Dionysian side because of the
beat of the musicand the aggression of the rapper. Some rap music contains sex, profanity, drugs,
etc. which is its dark side or Dionysian element. There is no doubt that the Dionysian side of rap
music is more prevalent because of the way it is done; the music videos, the clothing worn by the
rapper, and the fan base. Though there are an enormous amount of elements that are Dionysian,
there is one main Apollonian element, the lyrics. Many who listen to... Show more content on

Eminem is a rapper that was criticized for years because of his color did not align with his art
form. Eminem s lyrics in Sing for the Moment is a clear example of Apollonian, because he
discusses his emotions as a rapper and his fans that have gone through similar life experiences as
he has. Eminem discusses that as a rapper, he is blamed for fan s actions (deaths, physical
changes, emotional changes, etc.), when he is actually helping them go through their tough
times. He describes this change when he talks about a child who is angry inside and wants to let
his emotions go, but doesn t know how. He says that its nightmares to white parents ... Whose
worst fear is a child with dyed hair and who likes earrings... [Walks] around with his headphones
blaring... What bothers him all comes out, when he talks about his dad walking out. Because he
hates him so bad that he blocks him out. Eminem discusses that his music help these kids
emotionally by listening to his music and hearing his life struggles: That s why we sing for these
kids, who don t have a thing. Except for a dream, and a fucking rap magazine...Idolize they
favorite rappers...till they sit and they cry at night wishing they d die. Till they throw on a rap
record and they sit, and they vibe. We re nothing to you, but we re the fucking shit in they eyes .

Regulator 5. Indicator
The ordinary low power E I core transformer is used to get required voltage. It is basically step
down transformer, which reduce the voltage from mains supply depending upon the output voltage.
The rectifier sections convert AC into DC. The rectifier is designed using four 1N 4007 diode. It
is a bridge type rectifier, which give full cycle conduction output. The capacitor based filter
section smooth the rippled DC and make it as pure DC. The smoothing level is increased by
increasing filter capacitor value. The regulator block is designed using 78 XX series.
The regulator is selected to get constant voltage at output side. We can give input voltage up to 30V.
The LED indicates circuit is on live. This circuit arrangement gives constant voltage output.
Power Supply Design Concept:
Transformer Selection:
Voltage Rating = DC output voltage +5V Current Rating = required current +1/2 required current.
Type: Ordinary Transformer = Half wave Bridge rectifier
Control Tape Transformer = Full wave rectifier.
Example:
For +5v @ 1A RPS Transformer Voltage Rating
Voltage = 5V + 5V = 10V
Transformer Current Rating
Current = 1A + 0.5A = 1.5A
Type:
Ordinary Transformer = 0 10v @ 1.5A Center Tapped Transformer = 10 0 10V@ 1.5A
Practical Selection of Transformer:
0 9V @ 2A (Or) 9V 0 9V @ 2A

Interloper By Saki
To be competitive is not necessarily a horrible quality in of itself, unless one is craving the blood
of someone else. Especially, none other than your neighbor. In the short story, Interloper by Saki,
the competition between the two main characters, Georg Znaeym and Ulrich Von Gradwitz, is
rather intense. The two are on a life long quest, driven by their competitive spirit, to hunt the other
down, even if it leads to their death. Saki illustrates their competitive spirit through their pride, hate
for each other, and nature itself. First and foremost, throughout the story, Georg and Ulrich s
competitive spirit was constantly illustrated through their pride in many various ways. One of the
many ways was when Saki narrates, The feud might, perhaps, have died down or been
compromised if the personal ill will of the two men had not stood in the way... (1). At any given
moment, the feud could have been forgotten or even forgiven, but the two refused to let that
happen. This gives reason to believe that the only reason why their fight persisted was partially due
to their pride. Their pride mentally prohibited them from putting an end to the feud, thus depicting
their competitive spirit.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During their quarrelsome argument, Ulrich said, I m caught in my own forest land. When my
men come to release us you will wish, perhaps, that you were in a better plight than caught
poaching on a neighbour s land, shame on you (Saki 3). Alternatively, Ulrich is saying that he is
planning on killing Georg once he escapes. This feeling further intensifies the competitive spirit
between the two because Ulrich plans to show no mercy at all. Conversely, Georg would probably
plan for the same to happen to

Essay on Houstons Land Use Policy
Priscilla Ortiz
Government 2306
Professor Andrew Teas
Houston Land Use Policy Houston is a large city with very unique qualities that most cities cannot
even begin to understand, but is this just Houstonian pride talking? No, actually one of the unique
qualities that Houston has is how we handle our land use planning. Houston is well known for not
having any zoning ordinances, which has become a well known topic for a while now. People argue
weather our lack of zoning is chaotic, unorthodox, or independent and distinct. Another unique
quality that we have is where our political culture stands. Dr. Elazar s Individualistic Traditionalistic

The broader picture to Houston is that it comes from the biggest state in the U.S, Texas. Texas has
a vast amount of people and within these people there are different types of mindsets but there are
also similar ones things like this are what describe are Political culture which the book, Texas
Politics 12th edition, defines it as a shared system of values, beliefs and habits of behavior with
regard about politics. Dr. Elazar describes political culture as everyone being impacted by the
beliefs and values of the dominant groups in society; these groups can range in between three
categories of political culture moralistic, Individualistic, and traditionalistic. According to the book,
moralistic political culture is when citizens understand the state and the nation as commonwealths
designed to further the shared interest of everyone. In Individualistic political culture, citizens
understand the state and the nation as marketplaces in which people strive to better their personal
welfare, citizen participation is encouraged. In Traditionalistic political culture, citizens technically
believe in democracy, but emphasize respect to elite rule within a hierarchal society and citizen
participation is not encouraged. Texas stands right in between Individualistic and Traditionalistic in

Analysis Of Maddy Whittier s Life
Eighteen year old Maddy Whittier lives her life in a bit of a bubble. This can be a clichГ© for
some people but for Maddy, it s much more than that. SCID is the acronym for Severe Combined
Immune Deficiency and victims of this dreadful disease must live in isolation from the outside
world for fear of germs and contamination that can lead to death. This describes Maddy s world
where she lives at home with her mother Pauline (who is also her doctor) and Carla, her long
time nurse and friend. Maddy seems resigned to a lifetime of books, movies, and board games in
her sterile but safe home. Her over protective mom dotes on her and there s no denying the deep
love they share. With the death of Maddy s brother and father many years before

If Everyone Is A Lucky Dog Essay
If Everyone is A Lucky Dog I read a story of The Bible just now. A man in it was fortune when I
was under a heavy pressure to face a test. I sometimes thought why I always lose chances, and I
think I am not lucky. But when I think about a thing from another aspect, I find that I am not
only lucky, but also unique. Daniel the servant of the living god was cast into a den of lions. A
stone was laid over the mouth of the pit, and then the king ordered to close it. No one can change
his purpose. But that night, it was a very long night for Darius the king, for he cannot eat well,
sleep well and hardly to listen to the music. The second day, he got up very early in the morning.
He went to the den of the lions and with a very sorrowful voice cried. He asked toward to the den if
he was alive. He did not know if he can live under mouths of... Show more content on

Fortunately, he got a strong and cheery voice. He was still alive. The king regretted what he had
done to him, and he worried him so that he looks for him in the early morning. The king did not
want to be punished by god for the man was servant of god; he regretted to treat him so violently.
Daniel was brought up out of the den by king, and the king put down his heart after he assured
that there was no hurt found upon him, because he had believed in god. Daniel was lucky, he
was servant of god, when he met difficult god will help him. When he was thrown into the den of
lions, god sent his angel to help him out of the lions who has shut the lions mouths so that no
hurt was found in him. There is no doubt that Daniel is lucky for he is god s servant. He is
unique. But for many people who are very common and not especial, if they can live when they
are thrown into the pit of lions, how could they do to live when they face so many big and cruel

of laptops and PCs. Growth of VAIO sales have outpaced that of the market, and continued
growth is expected due to increased consumer adoption of Microsoft s Vista operating system.
Currently, VAIO laptops represent 5% of the market. Semiconductors Sony s semiconductor
business represents a small component of total revenue. Sony produces several products such as
CCD sensors for digital cameras and small form factor LCDs. The most important development
within this segment is the CELL processor, a joint development by Sony, Toshiba, and IBM. The
multi core architecture of the CELL processor allows for more efficient performance in
multimedia and vector calculation applications. It is designed to bridge the gap between
conventional CPUs, which are made by Intel and AMD and specialized processors such as the
GPUs found in graphics cards, which are made by nVidia and AMD subsidiary ATI. Components
Sony makes a variety of components for third party customers. A large component of this revenue
comes from the manufacture of laptop batteries, which are used by major laptop companies such

Decline of Union Membership Essay
Organized labor has seen a long and ever changing history in the United States. What began as
minimal organized labor movement catapulted into astronomical union membership rates as the
nation grew and developed. The intense power unions possessed only lasted so long and in the
years since 1970, union membership in the United States has collapsed. This paper will examine the
most significant reasons for the decline in membership. In brief, organizational redesigns, the
development of technology and substantial public policy changes have all contributed to the drop in
affiliation rates. In addition, policy suggestions will be provided in an attempt to support the
continuation of the trend. Much of the research regarding this topic refers to... Show more content

In 1913, Congress created the United 3 State Department of Labor as a direct result of pressure
from organized labor (MacLaury). Shortly after the creation of the Department of Labor, the Great
Recession hit the nation. With the depression came an increased unemployment and lesser wages
however significant legislation was also created during that time that impacted union membership.
The most significant law was the Fair Labor Standards Act. Following shortly after this FLSA, the
United States amended the Equal Pay Act and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Occupations
Health and Safety Act of 1970. Although these acts were supported by the power of unions, these
acts in particular impact union membership which will be discussed later in the paper. It was at this
time in the nation s history that unions began to see a decline in membership. Unions today cast a
wide umbrella of membership and consist of trade unions such as the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers and the Laborers International Union of North America to service unions such as
the United Food and Commercial Workers. Although their membership has declined, unions that
were once affiliated with a defined group skilled labor employees now can be found in almost any
industry representing any group of employees. There is significant data that tracks union

Danielle Agoglia s Study Of Jealousy
Something Mr. Naji brought up was that jealousy and paranoia about what your partner is doing.
Those same temptations you may feel are also pressures for them afterall. But miss Danielle
Agoglia, from Elite Daily, offers another perspective: you need to trust your partner. Letting go of
all those fears and concerns and simply realizing that your partner, just like you, is in loveand wants
to make this work. Just like the participants in Meitzner and Li wen s study, Agoglia found she
began to trustherself a lot more as she trusted her partner. While these are all anecdotal evidence, I
do think it can lend itself to making one think at the very least. Essentially, as you trust your partner
you not only better the relationship by lessening or... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Regardless, trusting your partner not only to do right by you and your relationship but also to help
you when you need it can take a lot of stress off of your shoulders. Learning to really and truly trust
your partner, while easier said than done is essential to a functioning long distance relationship.
There is a difference between trusting support and dependency, however. It is a very important
difference too. As an individual, each partner must come to terms with the distance and be able to
fend for themselves. This may seem at odds with the previous two maintenance methods as it
advocates for more independence from the relationship, but it is important. Unlike a lot of couples
you can t live together and have separate lives and finances. This makes practical support incredibly
difficult, so instead couples emotionally support each other. This is good, and should definitely be
encouraged behavior. Unfortunately, some couples will become emotionally dependent. What this
means is that one partner relies on the other as the source for his or her happiness. In her article on
The Huffington Post, Margaret Paul discusses this issue. I often see couples where one partner is
emotionally dependent

The Squire s Tale
Because The Squire s Tale from Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales is incomplete, the romantic idea of
life and love are the prominent themes of the limited story. The interruption of the tale leads more
to assumptions than accurate analysis.
A Fantastical Tale
This story begins in a foreign location, introduces a mysterious guest, and describes magical items.
How does this not sound like the beginning of a fantasy story along the lines of Lord of the Rings?
Instead, it is the imaginative tale of the Squire from Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales. The Squire is
a young man who is an apprentice to his father, a knight. His fantastical tale is set in the land of
Tartary and is filled with hope. His tale begins as an optimistic story about love.
The Squire never finishes his story. He is interrupted by another member of the travelling group

He provides this romantic backdrop to tell his tale about love. Unfortunately, the theme of love
only develops between the female falcon and Canace. Had the Squire been permitted to continue
his story, he would have added to his tale and allowed for further development of this theme. He
does note that the remainder of his story would have explained how the children of the king could
have found the loves of their lives.
As it remains a truncated story, what does the Squire tell about love? He notes that despite our
feelings of love, they may not be shared by our partner, as the female falcon learns. It is a
powerful feeling and can lead to deep emotional pain. Canace shows that this pain does heal, and
we are then able to go forth and experience it again. It is a feeling that should be cherished and
nurtured, despite there being no assurances that it will last

The Best American Essays Of The Century By Robert Atwan
Throughout the 1900 s, America has grown exponentially in its values, struggles, and art. The Best
American Essays of the Century, written by Robert Atwan, showcases the progress this country has
made through a series of essays ordered chronologically. Although many underlying topics existed
in these pieces, three common themes particularly stood out. In How It Feels to Be Colored Me by
Zora Neale Hurston, The Old Stone House by Edmund Wilson, and The Handicapped by Randolph
Bourne, identity is an important subject. Injustice is a clearly shared theme in Coatesville by John
Jay Chapman, The Devil Baby at Hull House by Jane Addams, and Of the Coming of John by
W.E.B. Du Bois. Finally, in Corn pone Opinions by Mark Twain, Tradition and the Individual
Talent by T.S. Eliot, and What Are Masterpieces and Why Are There So Few of Them by
Gertrude Stein, the aspect of non personality and the removal of one s self seems to be commonly
spoken of in terms of creation.
The first motif, identity, appears initially in How It Feels to Be Colored Me where it says, But I
am not tragically colored. There is no great sorrow damned up in my soul, nor lurking behind
my eyes. I do not mind at all. (p. 115) Here, it is obvious that the author holds no shame in her
skin nor self. She is proud of who she is despite the prejudice some hold against her. Hurston
identifies as colored and does not care what others think. Her identity is unwavering. Also
applicable to this idea is

The Vengeful Miss Havisham
The Vengeful Miss Havisham Great Expectations.
In Great Expectations, by Charles Dickens, Miss Havisham is a complex character whose past
remains a mystery. We know about her broken engagement, an event that changes her life forever.
Miss Havisham desperately wants revenge, and Estella, her adopted daughter, is the perfect tool to
carry out her motives. With her plan of revenge in mind, Miss Havisham deliberately raises Estella
to avoid emotional attachment and treat those who love her with cruelty. A specific quote in the
book, where Miss Havisham tells Pip that he must love Estella at all costs, sheds light on Miss
Havisham s vengeful character. One can draw parallels from the life of Miss Havisham to the life
that she ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Arthur wants to get back at his half sister for being cheated out of the brewery business, and Miss
Havisham and Estella want to seek revenge on all men who love Estella. Estella is being trained to
ruin the lives of men, just as Miss Havisham s fiancГ© ruined hers.
In Miss Havisham s address to Pip, she tells him to love Estella even if she wounds him. Perhaps
the reason that she stops the clocks, never changes out of her yellowing wedding gown, and keeps
the rotting wedding cake is to perpetuate her hope that her fiancГ© will return.
This means that either Miss Havisham still loves Compeyson or that she is simply throwing a
drastic temper tantrum. It is obvious that Miss
Havisham is a deeply wounded woman: her outlook on life is dismal and desolate. She has not
ventured out into the daylight for fifty years, shutting out the rest of the world. Time means
nothing to her, for she has nothing to do and no friends to see. Her transformation from a
passionate young woman in love to an old, hardened, and lonely woman is a great one. There is an
obvious parallel between Miss Havisham and
Pip in this regard: just as Miss Havisham was spurned by her fiancГ©,
Estella has broken Pip s heart. Miss Havisham, in trying to seek personal revenge, has only caused
more pain and heartbreak.
Next, Miss Havisham tells Pip to love Estella even if she tears his heart to pieces.

The Tragedy Of Ferguson, Missouri

Research Paper
November 25, 2014
On August 9, 2014, a young, unarmed, 18 year old, black man named Michael Brown was shot
to death six times by 28 year old, white police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri, a town
just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Some say Officer Wilson was protecting his life, I call it police
brutality. The brutality has led to an uproar of all day protesting and looting, and cops and even
the National Guard are working double time to keep everything under control. There are many
things that led up to the shooting. At 11:54 am on August 9, 2014, Michael Brown and his friend
Dorian Johnson were recorded on a convenience store security camera leaving the store with a
$48.00 box of Swisher Sweet Cigars. At that time, a dispatch went out over police radio reporting
the crime, a strong armed robbery (Freivogal). According to Grandstrandlaw.com, a strong armed
robbery ... occurs when there is no deadly weapon used during the robbery (Frederick). With this in
mind, we cannot assume that Michael Brown had a gun. We can also not say that he may have had
a gun, but just decided to not show it to the convenience store clerk in order to intimidate him or
her during the robbery. When Brown and Johnson left the store, they had a ten minute walk to get
back to where they lived. When they were walking home, they were walking in the middle of the
street when Officer Darren Wilson ordered

The Persian Empire fell in the year 330 BCE due to the invasion of Alexander III of Macedon

took back control of Iran, this was known as the Muslim conquest or the Arab conquest of Iran.
Modern day Iran is divided into 31 provinces (Statoids). These 31 provinces are combined into 5

A Summary Of The Movie Smoke Signals
Often relationships with others can be formed at an early age. Relationships can vary from being
friendships, or even ones formed between family members. Many relationships can prove to be
complex and tend to evolve over time. Both This is what it means to say Phoenix, Arizona by , and
the movie Smoke Signals illustrate the complexity of relationships between individuals.
As shown in the first scene of the movie we can see that Thomas and Victor have been together for
a long time. While the house was burning down, they were both being held and they were beside
each other. Although much of their time spent together as children is not displayed in the movie we
learn about their childhood interactions through the scenes depicted in Phoenix . In the short story,
we learn of a few memories that Victor and Thomas share; When they were younger the two boys
watched fireworks together on the fourth of July, as well as riding bikes together. Furthermore, the
friendship between the boys can be seen when Thomas saves Victor after he has stepped on a
wasp s nest. In the begging of the short story the relationship between Thomas and victor is shown
as being friendly towards each other; however, as the story progresses we can see the relationship
continuing to evolve. This proves to the reader how complex relationships between what appears to
be two childhood friends can be.
A contributing factor to the fallout of the friendship between Thomas and Victor would be how

The term Fenians applied to members of various Irish organizations that took place in the USA, that

The History Of Community Television In Colombia

Colombia. Their visibility is a monument of a moment in history in which these devices accelerated
the access to international media contents, years before the privatization of television distribution in

satellite dishes were adapted and adopted across the country, political and economic changes in the

In Agreement 006 of 1996, the Colombian National Television Authority also established a set of
prohibitions to community television which include signal radio diffusion, service
commercialization, reception and distribution of codified signals. However, a year later, the
National Authority started to refer to community television as non profit community television, in
which it demanded from Community television to produce contents for keeping their status.
Through these legal changes, I explore emerging ideas of participation and community that turned
these infrastructures into hubs for production. Under these circumstances, community television
has turned into a small scale cultural industry for producing of local content, supported by the idea
that these projects empower local sense of communities. By following some of the democratic
changes introduced in the 1991 constitution, and the free market policies on this decade, I will
consider how community projects joined discourses of self sustainability and accountability as a
condition for an emergent techno communitarianism, rooted in the infrastructures of satellite dishes
from the 1980s (Hay, 2007).

Social Darwinism During The Gilded Age
Social Darwinism was a popular term during the late 19th century. According to Social Darwinism,
the human race evolves only through competition and only the fit survive while the weak cease to
exist. Therefore Social Darwinism applied during the Gilded age meant that the wealthy
represented the fit, whereas the poor represented the weak. Wealthy men like John D. Rockefeller
used this to justify their tremendous wealth gain. However, American industries expanded rapidly;
new technologies and innovations came about and took over the cities which increased production.
Many of Americans and immigrants migrated to the cites to get jobs; but the working conditions
during the time were very poor. Employees worked long hard hours in harsh environments and
received little pay, which caused many people to live in poverty. This poverty issue formulated the
theory of Social Darwinism. Many people used this theory to justify the distinction between the rich
and the poor. Social Darwinism also allowed businessmen to have merit because it allowed them to

and pressed both of his hands against his stomach, he felt like he was bleeding inside his stomach.
If we recalled in the earlier that the strange man in black suit managed to get every Ping Pong balls
into the fish bowl without any bouncing and such and now author foreshadowing that the game
operator felt that his stomach is bleeding, that gives us the unknown horror thoughts that maybe the
man has some kind of supernatural power that can put certain object into the place he want it to be.

the United States. It is no surprise, then, that immigrants from every stretch of the planet have

The Pros And Cons Of Geography
The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of the word geography, is land. However, there is
much more to geography than this one singular word. Geography is the study of land on Earth, its
physical features, and its atmosphere. Geography is how humans affect the environment. It is what
carved and shaped history, and can alter the future in just a snap of the fingers. Geographyis a way
to travel around the world, multiple times without even having to leave your seat. It is the
ultimate difference between many subjects, such as winning or losing, happiness and sadness,
or even the common difference between life and death. To many people, geography is a part of
everyday life, even though we don t seem to notice it. We use geography to get to school and
work. We use it to find the nearest McDonalds, and to even find out about the weather forecast of
the day. Yet, for others, geography is what they live and breathe. Tim Marshall falls into that
category as the author of Prisoners of Geography, who dedicates much of his time to further
analyze the intricate study of geography. In his bestseller, Tim explains to us the allure of ten
different regions in the world, while also bringing light to the little harmful events in each region,
which could potentially lead to world calamity. In his book, Marshall draws a clear line between
how geography positively and negatively influences the world. For example, the geography of the
land can provide countries with a surplus of

Americans brought bulk foods with them, during their Western expansion. Some staple items

By the 19th century, Americans were able to enjoy a wide range of condiments, which included
pepper sauces, Worcestershire Sauce, mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup (Gerth and Lindsey,
2011:21). The Spanish and Africans brought hot pepper sauces during their colonization and
forced slavery, particularly to the Mississippi Delta region (Snodgrass, 2004:157).
Worcestershire Sauce was created by Lea and Perrins, two British gentlemen, were tasked with
trying to make an Indian sauce with local English ingredients (Snodgrass, 2004:158). On the
other hand, mustard has several variations; however, these adaptations were only able to come
about after the successful grinding of mustard seeds into powder by a Mrs. Clements of
Tewkesbury, England in 1720. Maurice Grey and Auguste Poupon blended wine, grape must,
black, and brown mustard seeds from Dijon France in 1886. Americans learned to enjoy this
fiery condiment after Francis French created a milder flavored mustard (Jones, 1983:70; Smith,
2013:600; Snodgrass, 2004:158). It was either the Duc de Richelieu or his cook in 1756, who
emulsified egg yolks, oil, vinegar, and seasonings to create a mayonnaise (Smith, 2013:549;
Snodgrass, 2004:158). Ketchup is believed to have gotten its name from either China, Java, or
Indonesia in 1690. This oriental style of sauce came from both preserved fish and fermented salt
pickles. However, cooks in the United States preferred to use tomatoes as the base for this sauce.

Nonetheless, the Mass is the most crucial ritual as they consider it as the Lord`s Supper. The

This set the tone for conducting Bible readings and other prayers during the Mass. During the
inquiry, I was informed that each day of worship has its own prayers and readings that are unique
as chosen by the church.
Upon the beginning of the Liturgy of the Eucharist which is the second section of the Mass, all the
saints remained seated as the deacons passed the baskets to them so as to collect offerings that
were in the form of monetary and non monetary. The head deacon brought the offerings to the
altar. He was also carrying cruets that had plain drinking water and grape wine together with a
container that had unconsecrated hosts. The priest poured, into the chalice, wine and added drops
of water that symbolized humanity and divinity union in Christ. Then the priest lifted the hosts as
an offering presented to God. He also did the same using the chalice filled with wine.
Ceremonially, the priest washed his hands similar to how rabbis and priests did prior to ritual
slaughters. This according to one of the leaders in the church was a reenactment of the sacrifice of
Jesus Christ. The Sanctus was sung after which the congregation knelt down for the first time to
mark the holiest section of the Mass known as the Consecration. After the service I learned that
Consecration of the wine and bread meant that they become the blood and body of Jesus according

Effects Of Ww2 On American Society
The Effects of World War II on American Society Introduction paragraph... World War II (Sep 1,
1939 Sep 2, 1945) led to many things. Our Technology as a whole grew more advanced, we
learned new techniques in the medical field and most importantly democracy spread throughout
the allies. The allies included America, Russia, Great Britain, and France. These countries united
to defeat Germany, Italy, and Japan who were known as the axis powers. It was a hard fought
war that was very costly for both sides. American Society Prior to World War II A decade before
the outbreak of World War II America was in the midst of the Great Depression. The great
Depression lasted from 1929 to around 1939 leaving 15 million Americans unemployed and half the

In the years leading up to World War II Americans feared the Russians and Joseph Stalin, dictator
of the Soviet Union from 1929 1953. His self centered and blood thirsty characteristics were one
to fear as millions of his own people were killed during his reign (Joseph Stalin). Russia was under
communism which contradicted the American democracy. The Cold War was never America
against Russia instead the two countries fought through what is called a Proxy Wars. A proxy war
is a confrontation between two powers where neither directly engages the other. This frequently
involves both countries fighting their opponent s allies, or assisting their allies in fighting their
opponent. To give an example, America would help one side of a country or state while Russia
would help the other. The two superpowers would assist their side of the country with financial help
and supplying their side with weapons. Whoever would win the small civil war would either have a
communist or democratic government depending on the outcome of the

The Atomic Bomb Of Hiroshima And Nagasaki
The Atomic Bomb
After World War I, no one, not even the Head of Chemical Warfare, suspected such a weapon
would be dropped on civilians in the near future. Prior to the development of the atomic bomb in
World War II, gas bombing and incendiary bombing were prevalent (Rotter 5). The race to create
nuclear weapons and the excitement of succeeding technologically is thought to have distorted the
morality of those who decided to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These atomic bombings are
plausibly the first and last of their kind, as increasing nuclear programs in countries worldwide
promise mutually assured destruction to countries associated in such an ordeal. In the future, all
countries involved in a war will need to tread carefully, as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Ironically, approximately twenty years later, the United States of America was blamed for doing
just that. Arguably, the entire Atomic Bomb situation began on August 2, 1939, when President
Franklin D. Roosevelt received a letter revealing by purifying uranium 235 one had the potential to
create a bomb. It also revealed the efforts in Nazi Germany to create a bomb (Bellis 1). In response
to this letter, a secret government project called the Manhattan Project , began (Bellis 1).
The Manhattan Project was top secret at the time, and served the purpose of creating and testing
an atomic bomb(Bellis 1). Between 1939 and 1945 over two billion dollars were given to the
Manhattan Project (Bellis 1). The scientists burdened with inventing such a bomb mostly
originated from the University of Chicago (Bellis 1). To create an atomic bomb, a specific
amount of enriched uranium must be used, to create a chain reaction (Bellis 1). The group of
scientists, headed by Enrico Fermi and J. Robert Oppenheimer, created a pile of forty five metric
tons of natural uranium embedded in solid graphite (Bellis 1). Although the reaction was slowed
because the uranium 235 was not extracted, it was considered successful (Bellis 1). The next step
was to extract the uranium 235, and create a real bomb (Bellis 1). The way to go about this
creation was difficult. The ratio of uranium to uranium ore is five hundred to one. The one part in
that ratio is ninety nine

Amanda Knox Summary
AMANDA KNOX: AN EXAMINATION OF JUSTICE COMPARING
U.S. VS. THE ITALIAN STRUCTURE OF THE COURTS SYSTEMS, AND THE USE OF
EVIDENCE FOR CONVICTION
November 2, 2007, was a very sad day due to the murder of Meredith Kercher. This is the day
Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito lives were forever changed. This murder took place in Italy
and through this case the Criminal and Justice Systems were found to be very different from
country to country. This case specifically brought light how the United States and Italy are different
when it comes to finding justice for committing a murder. These differences consist of an
examination of justice, structure of the court systems and the use of evidence for conviction.
The Italian Justice System is an inquisitorial system (Huziker, 2016). In an inquisitorial system, the
court is involved in the investigation (Huziker, 2016). The judge and the prosecutor work together
in investigating the case (Huziker, 2016). This is interesting because, the judge also decides
whether the accused is innocent or guilty (Huziker, 2016). Before the trial starts and due to the
inquisitorial system used, the judge has a preconceived notion as to which way they want to favor
(Huziker, 2016). The Italian court is set up with three judges and six lay assessors of facts (Krings,
2015). There is no oath taken for the defendant when they take the stand (Huziker, 2016). When it
comes to the Amanda Knox case, the main topic was on innocents or guilty (Linth, 2013).

Essay about Ishmael
Ishmael Daniel Quinn s Ishmael is the story of one man s quest for knowledge and his desire to
save the world . Answering a simple ad in the paper of a teacher looking for students (p4), the
narrator is sent on an incredible philosophical journey. The teacher our narrator expects is not that
which he finds, however, as our titular character Ishmael, so aptly named by Walter Sokolow
(p18) as he sensed the gorilla s almost divine presence, is that teacher. This teaching is made
possible by Ishmael s miraculous telepathic way of communication (p21). Ishmael s name,
originally Goliath due his size and presumed demeanor (p14), I find incredibly fitting as he, like
Abraham s eldest son, appears to be sent from the heavens though in this... Show more content on

The Leavers do not exempt themselves from the laws of competition while the Takers do. The
Takers, in exempting themselves from these laws, exterminate and remove all forms of
competition in their way. In a lesson where the narrator role plays as a Taker trying to convince
Ishmael, a Leaver, to live his life style (p222) he comes upon the conclusion that being human is
living on your own terms rather than the gods and this is what separates us from the animals
(p225). It is Mother Culture who teaches this since the day we re born (p37), that we should live
on our own terms rather than the gods and that we know good and evil and evil is living by chance.
Thus, Takers are on a quest to find the one right way to do things and hence all our laws and such
contrivances come into being. Controlling the world and the universe is the primary goal of the
Takers so they no longer have to live in any sort of fear and as such they are a culture of the new
whereas the Leavers are a culture of tradition (p205). Quinn relates culture to a mother because of
its nurturing qualities and among Leaver peoples, Mother Culture explains and preserves a life
style that is healthy and self sustaining. Among Taker peoples she explains and preserves a life
style that has proven to be unhealthy and self destructive (p148). That explanation is what sets the
two groups in

Meursault s The Stranger
The elaborate synthesis of light and reflection yields the mise en abyme of truth, persistently
developing the core of The Stranger. Creating a contrast and a balance between intensity of action
and the mundane, chapter two is slow paced compared to the abundance of narrative voice
transpiring chapter one. Chapter two is an initiation into the world of Meursault s quotidian reality
of emerging salient features of Meursault s world. The novel creates motion in the whole world
and achieves a density of effect in the process. Even after a rather dull and eventless Sunday,
Meursault still manages to end the chapter with a discomforting remark, almost as if he were to
remind reader of his existential presence. After his structured and mechanical... Show more content

that he is expected to return to his norms from the society though being drawn into a whirlpool
of life. [He is] going back to work (pg.28), which gives him a sense of independence (providing his
daily bread) and provides him an exclusive purpose, which Meursault believes no one has in life

The Roles Of Black Women On Reality Television
Reality television is a programming that documents apparently unscripted real life situations.
The genre of reality TV shows focus tends to be on drama and personal conflict, rather than
educating viewers. The roles of black women on reality television depict negative stereotypes.
The roles they are portraying makes them out to look negative. Black women are already
assumed to be angry, petty, loud, violent, bad attitudes, drama queens, and many more. Their
actions on reality TV is portrayed to people outside our culture exactly the way they expects us
to be or act. Stereotypes are taken into new levels based on reality TV, because to a certain
extent, majority of black women in my society is acting that way. Those women actions on
reality TV shows seem to have an influence on majority of black women who are viewers actions.
For instance, we have reality shows like Love and Hip Hop, Basketball Wives, Bad Girl Clubs,
The Real House Wives of Atlanta, and many more. Love Hip Hop is one of the most talked
about shows that negatively portrays the roles of black women. That show is full of drama
which makes it interesting to watch, but shows a poor look on black women. TV critics says that
this is one of the most intense reality shows, because it shows verbal and physical abuse in black
relationships. The original Love Hip Hop started Mona Scott Young s depredation into reality TV,
stereotyping black women as angry, promiscuous and so on. In one of the seasons L HH New

Notes On Avatars And Chat Bots
Short paper on Avatars and Chat bots By Bhagya Lakshmi Vegiraju IT 660 Artificial Intelligence
Avatars and Chat bots:
In today s world, computers are all about text input and output. Our way of communication with
computer is pointing the mouse, menus and commands. Chat bots is an end point to such text input
output kind of communication with a computer. Chat bots enables you to converse with a
computer in such a way that you usually talk to a person and it talks back ,which seems realistic
as if you were talking to a real person. Chat bot is basically a program that converse in a natural
language with the user. Avatar on the other hand, is a visual character operated by a person or a
chat bot.
Do you think these technologies are realistic?
I think these technologies are realistic because they respond to you in a such a manner as if you
are talking to a real person. A lot of research shows that users develop more of a relationship with
a chat bot or avatar than they do with pages of text and images because they seem realistic. Chat
bots allow users to access the information as though they had someone to assist them. The chat bot
can take general language queries, give general language responses, and show users the parts of the
content they were searching for on the internet ,for example Siri technology. I tried a conversation

  • 2. Dionysian Research Paper An art form that contains both Apollonian and Dionysian characteristics is rap music. Although rap music has been categorized by some as rowdy and to some extent pointless, there are some songs that contain both. Rap music for the most part has a much stronger Dionysian side because of the beat of the musicand the aggression of the rapper. Some rap music contains sex, profanity, drugs, etc. which is its dark side or Dionysian element. There is no doubt that the Dionysian side of rap music is more prevalent because of the way it is done; the music videos, the clothing worn by the rapper, and the fan base. Though there are an enormous amount of elements that are Dionysian, there is one main Apollonian element, the lyrics. Many who listen to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Eminem is a rapper that was criticized for years because of his color did not align with his art form. Eminem s lyrics in Sing for the Moment is a clear example of Apollonian, because he discusses his emotions as a rapper and his fans that have gone through similar life experiences as he has. Eminem discusses that as a rapper, he is blamed for fan s actions (deaths, physical changes, emotional changes, etc.), when he is actually helping them go through their tough times. He describes this change when he talks about a child who is angry inside and wants to let his emotions go, but doesn t know how. He says that its nightmares to white parents ... • 5. Interloper By Saki To be competitive is not necessarily a horrible quality in of itself, unless one is craving the blood of someone else. Especially, none other than your neighbor. In the short story, Interloper by Saki, the competition between the two main characters, Georg Znaeym and Ulrich Von Gradwitz, is rather intense. The two are on a life long quest, driven by their competitive spirit, to hunt the other down, even if it leads to their death. Saki illustrates their competitive spirit through their pride, hate for each other, and nature itself. First and foremost, throughout the story, Georg and Ulrich s competitive spirit was constantly illustrated through their pride in many various ways. One of the many ways was when Saki narrates, The feud might, perhaps, have died down or been compromised if the personal ill will of the two men had not stood in the way... (1). At any given moment, the feud could have been forgotten or even forgiven, but the two refused to let that happen. This gives reason to believe that the only reason why their fight persisted was partially due to their pride. Their pride mentally prohibited them from putting an end to the feud, thus depicting their competitive spirit.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During their quarrelsome argument, Ulrich said, I m caught in my own forest land. When my men come to release us you will wish, perhaps, that you were in a better plight than caught poaching on a neighbour s land, shame on you (Saki 3). Alternatively, Ulrich is saying that he is planning on killing Georg once he escapes. This feeling further intensifies the competitive spirit between the two because Ulrich plans to show no mercy at all. Conversely, Georg would probably plan for the same to happen to ... What began as minimal organized labor movement catapulted into astronomical union membership rates as the nation grew and developed. The intense power unions possessed only lasted so long and in the years since 1970, union membership in the United States has collapsed. This paper will examine the most significant reasons for the decline in membership. In brief, organizational redesigns, the development of technology and substantial public policy changes have all contributed to the drop in affiliation rates. The most significant law was the Fair Labor Standards Act. Following shortly after this FLSA, the United States amended the Equal Pay Act and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Occupations Health and Safety Act of 1970. Although these acts were supported by the power of unions, these acts in particular impact union membership which will be discussed later in the paper. Just like the participants in Meitzner and Li wen s study, Agoglia found she began to trustherself a lot more as she trusted her partner. Regardless, trusting your partner not only to do right by you and your relationship but also to help you when you need it can take a lot of stress off of your shoulders. Learning to really and truly trust your partner, while easier said than done is essential to a functioning long distance relationship. There is a difference between trusting support and dependency, however. It is a very important difference too. As an individual, each partner must come to terms with the distance and be able to fend for themselves. This may seem at odds with the previous two maintenance methods as it advocates for more independence from the relationship, but it is important. Unlike a lot of couples you can t live together and have separate lives and finances. This makes practical support incredibly difficult, so instead couples emotionally support each other. This is good, and should definitely be encouraged behavior. Unfortunately, some couples will become emotionally dependent. What this means is that one partner relies on the other as the source for his or her happiness. In her article on The Huffington Post, Margaret Paul discusses this issue. • 20. The Best American Essays Of The Century By Robert Atwan Throughout the 1900 s, America has grown exponentially in its values, struggles, and art. The Best American Essays of the Century, written by Robert Atwan, showcases the progress this country has made through a series of essays ordered chronologically. Although many underlying topics existed in these pieces, three common themes particularly stood out. In How It Feels to Be Colored Me by Zora Neale Hurston, The Old Stone House by Edmund Wilson, and The Handicapped by Randolph Bourne, identity is an important subject. Injustice is a clearly shared theme in Coatesville by John Jay Chapman, The Devil Baby at Hull House by Jane Addams, and Of the Coming of John by W.E.B. Du Bois. Finally, in Corn pone Opinions by Mark Twain, Tradition and the Individual Talent by T.S. Eliot, and What Are Masterpieces and Why Are There So Few of Them by Gertrude Stein, the aspect of non personality and the removal of one s self seems to be commonly spoken of in terms of creation. The first motif, identity, appears initially in How It Feels to Be Colored Me where it says, But I am not tragically colored. There is no great sorrow damned up in my soul, nor lurking behind my eyes. I do not mind at all. (p. 115) Here, it is obvious that the author holds no shame in her skin nor self. She is proud of who she is despite the prejudice some hold against her. Hurston identifies as colored and does not care what others think. Her identity is unwavering. Also applicable to this idea is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 21. The Vengeful Miss Havisham The Vengeful Miss Havisham Great Expectations. In Great Expectations, by Charles Dickens, Miss Havisham is a complex character whose past remains a mystery. We know about her broken engagement, an event that changes her life forever. Miss Havisham desperately wants revenge, and Estella, her adopted daughter, is the perfect tool to carry out her motives. With her plan of revenge in mind, Miss Havisham deliberately raises Estella to avoid emotional attachment and treat those who love her with cruelty. Arthur wants to get back at his half sister for being cheated out of the brewery business, and Miss Havisham and Estella want to seek revenge on all men who love Estella. Estella is being trained to ruin the lives of men, just as Miss Havisham s fiancГ© ruined hers. In Miss Havisham s address to Pip, she tells him to love Estella even if she wounds him. Perhaps the reason that she stops the clocks, never changes out of her yellowing wedding gown, and keeps the rotting wedding cake is to perpetuate her hope that her fiancГ© will return. This means that either Miss Havisham still loves Compeyson or that she is simply throwing a drastic temper tantrum. It is obvious that Miss Havisham is a deeply wounded woman: her outlook on life is dismal and desolate. She has not ventured out into the daylight for fifty years, shutting out the rest of the world. Time means nothing to her, for she has nothing to do and no friends to see. Her transformation from a passionate young woman in love to an old, hardened, and lonely woman is a great one. There is an obvious parallel between Miss Havisham and Pip in this regard: just as Miss Havisham was spurned by her fiancГ©, Estella has broken Pip s heart. Miss Havisham, in trying to seek personal revenge, has only caused more pain and heartbreak. Next, Miss Havisham tells Pip to love Estella even if she tears his heart to pieces. ... The Tragedy Of Ferguson, Missouri Tragedy in Ferguson, Missouri Catherine Meeks CJSA1348 Research Paper November 25, 2014 On August 9, 2014, a young, unarmed, 18 year old, black man named Michael Brown was shot to death six times by 28 year old, white police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri, a town just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Some say Officer Wilson was protecting his life, I call it police brutality. The brutality has led to an uproar of all day protesting and looting, and cops and even the National Guard are working double time to keep everything under control. There are many things that led up to the shooting. At 11:54 am on August 9, 2014, Michael Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson were recorded on a convenience store security camera leaving the store with a $48.00 box of Swisher Sweet Cigars. At that time, a dispatch went out over police radio reporting the crime, a strong armed robbery (Freivogal). According to Grandstrandlaw.com, a strong armed robbery ... occurs when there is no deadly weapon used during the robbery (Frederick). With this in mind, we cannot assume that Michael Brown had a gun. We can also not say that he may have had a gun, but just decided to not show it to the convenience store clerk in order to intimidate him or her during the robbery. Many of Americans and immigrants migrated to the cites to get jobs; but the working conditions during the time were very poor. • 34. The Pros And Cons Of Geography The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of the word geography, is land. However, there is much more to geography than this one singular word. Geography is the study of land on Earth, its physical features, and its atmosphere. Geography is how humans affect the environment. It is what carved and shaped history, and can alter the future in just a snap of the fingers. Geographyis a way to travel around the world, multiple times without even having to leave your seat. It is the ultimate difference between many subjects, such as winning or losing, happiness and sadness, or even the common difference between life and death. To many people, geography is a part of everyday life, even though we don t seem to notice it. We use geography to get to school and work. We use it to find the nearest McDonalds, and to even find out about the weather forecast of the day. Yet, for others, geography is what they live and breathe. Tim Marshall falls into that category as the author of Prisoners of Geography, who dedicates much of his time to further analyze the intricate study of geography. In his bestseller, Tim explains to us the allure of ten different regions in the world, while also bringing light to the little harmful events in each region, which could potentially lead to world calamity. A proxy war is a confrontation between two powers where neither directly engages the other. This frequently involves both countries fighting their opponent s allies, or assisting their allies in fighting their opponent. • 43. The Atomic Bomb Of Hiroshima And Nagasaki The Atomic Bomb After World War I, no one, not even the Head of Chemical Warfare, suspected such a weapon would be dropped on civilians in the near future. Prior to the development of the atomic bomb in World War II, gas bombing and incendiary bombing were prevalent (Rotter 5). The race to create nuclear weapons and the excitement of succeeding technologically is thought to have distorted the morality of those who decided to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These atomic bombings are plausibly the first and last of their kind, as increasing nuclear programs in countries worldwide promise mutually assured destruction to countries associated in such an ordeal. In the future, all countries involved in a war will need to tread carefully, as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ironically, approximately twenty years later, the United States of America was blamed for doing just that. Arguably, the entire Atomic Bomb situation began on August 2, 1939, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt received a letter revealing by purifying uranium 235 one had the potential to create a bomb. It also revealed the efforts in Nazi Germany to create a bomb (Bellis 1). In response to this letter, a secret government project called the Manhattan Project , began (Bellis 1). The Manhattan Project was top secret at the time, and served the purpose of creating and testing an atomic bomb(Bellis 1). Between 1939 and 1945 over two billion dollars were given to the Manhattan Project (Bellis 1). The scientists burdened with inventing such a bomb mostly originated from the University of Chicago (Bellis 1). To create an atomic bomb, a specific amount of enriched uranium must be used, to create a chain reaction (Bellis 1). The group of scientists, headed by Enrico Fermi and J. Robert Oppenheimer, created a pile of forty five metric tons of natural uranium embedded in solid graphite (Bellis 1). Although the reaction was slowed because the uranium 235 was not extracted, it was considered successful (Bellis 1). The next step was to extract the uranium 235, and create a real bomb (Bellis 1). The way to go about this creation was difficult. The ratio of uranium to uranium ore is five hundred to one. The one part in that ratio is ninety nine ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 44. Amanda Knox Summary AMANDA KNOX: AN EXAMINATION OF JUSTICE COMPARING U.S. VS. THE ITALIAN STRUCTURE OF THE COURTS SYSTEMS, AND THE USE OF EVIDENCE FOR CONVICTION November 2, 2007, was a very sad day due to the murder of Meredith Kercher. This is the day Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito lives were forever changed. This murder took place in Italy and through this case the Criminal and Justice Systems were found to be very different from country to country. This case specifically brought light how the United States and Italy are different when it comes to finding justice for committing a murder. These differences consist of an examination of justice, structure of the court systems and the use of evidence for conviction. The Italian Justice System is an inquisitorial system (Huziker, 2016). In an inquisitorial system, the court is involved in the investigation (Huziker, 2016). The judge and the prosecutor work together in investigating the case (Huziker, 2016). This is interesting because, the judge also decides whether the accused is innocent or guilty (Huziker, 2016). Before the trial starts and due to the inquisitorial system used, the judge has a preconceived notion as to which way they want to favor (Huziker, 2016). The Italian court is set up with three judges and six lay assessors of facts (Krings, 2015). There is no oath taken for the defendant when they take the stand (Huziker, 2016). When it comes to the Amanda Knox case, the main topic was on innocents or guilty (Linth, 2013). ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 45. Essay about Ishmael Ishmael Daniel Quinn s Ishmael is the story of one man s quest for knowledge and his desire to save the world . Answering a simple ad in the paper of a teacher looking for students (p4), the narrator is sent on an incredible philosophical journey. The teacher our narrator expects is not that which he finds, however, as our titular character Ishmael, so aptly named by Walter Sokolow (p18) as he sensed the gorilla s almost divine presence, is that teacher. This teaching is made possible by Ishmael s miraculous telepathic way of communication (p21). Ishmael s name, originally Goliath due his size and presumed demeanor (p14), I find incredibly fitting as he, like Abraham s eldest son, appears to be sent from the heavens though in this... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Leavers do not exempt themselves from the laws of competition while the Takers do. The Takers, in exempting themselves from these laws, exterminate and remove all forms of competition in their way. In a lesson where the narrator role plays as a Taker trying to convince Ishmael, a Leaver, to live his life style (p222) he comes upon the conclusion that being human is living on your own terms rather than the gods and this is what separates us from the animals (p225). It is Mother Culture who teaches this since the day we re born (p37), that we should live on our own terms rather than the gods and that we know good and evil and evil is living by chance. Thus, Takers are on a quest to find the one right way to do things and hence all our laws and such contrivances come into being. Controlling the world and the universe is the primary goal of the Takers so they no longer have to live in any sort of fear and as such they are a culture of the new whereas the Leavers are a culture of tradition (p205). Quinn relates culture to a mother because of its nurturing qualities and among Leaver peoples, Mother Culture explains and preserves a life style that is healthy and self sustaining. Among Taker peoples she explains and preserves a life style that has proven to be unhealthy and self destructive (p148). That explanation is what sets the two groups in ... Creating a contrast and a balance between intensity of action and the mundane, chapter two is slow paced compared to the abundance of narrative voice transpiring chapter one. Chapter two is an initiation into the world of Meursault s quotidian reality of emerging salient features of Meursault s world. The novel creates motion in the whole world and achieves a density of effect in the process. • 47. The Roles Of Black Women On Reality Television Reality television is a programming that documents apparently unscripted real life situations. The genre of reality TV shows focus tends to be on drama and personal conflict, rather than educating viewers. The roles of black women on reality television depict negative stereotypes. The roles they are portraying makes them out to look negative. Black women are already assumed to be angry, petty, loud, violent, bad attitudes, drama queens, and many more. Their actions on reality TV is portrayed to people outside our culture exactly the way they expects us to be or act. Stereotypes are taken into new levels based on reality TV, because to a certain extent, majority of black women in my society is acting that way. Those women actions on reality TV shows seem to have an influence on majority of black women who are viewers actions. For instance, we have reality shows like Love and Hip Hop, Basketball Wives, Bad Girl Clubs, The Real House Wives of Atlanta, and many more.
