This document describes the steps taken to model a flower in 3D modeling software: 1) A plane was edited into 6 sections and points pulled out to form the base petal shape. 2) HyperNURBS was added to give the petal a realistic look and sides bent inward. 3) The petal was cloned and arranged in a spiral to form the flower center. Additional petal layers were added and scaled smaller. 4) A sphere was used and flattened to form the flower center. Colors were added and a stem was made using a B-spline. Leaves were also added using resized petals.
