2. This is the first piece of
photograph manipulation that I
did, which I did by changing the
โLevelsโ in the photograph. I did
this by moving the lightest slider
from 255 to 229, and this made
the photo seem more brighter
and contrasted. It also worked
by making the white
background, and the models
white shirt whiter. I did this so
that the photo would seem
โcleanerโ and to make the
picture seem more vivid.
5. BEFORE
AFTER
Whilst experimenting
with the different
tools available, so
that I can manipulate
photos, I used the
โHealing Brush Toolโ
to remove a blemish
from the side of my
models head. I think
that by doing this, he
audience will be less
distracted by other
features of the cover,
and focus on the
most important
sections.
6. Another example of
photograph manipulation I
did, was done using the
โMagnetic Lasso Toolโ, to go
around the perimeter of the
flower crown. I then selected
that section and adjusted the
โBrightnessโ and โLevelsโ so
that the flower crown would
be more bright and vivid. I
think it works well as it makes
the flowers look more
realistic, and attracts the
attention of the audience
more. The reason I selected
only the flower crown was
because I didnโt want the shirt
in the photograph or
background of the
photograph to be stark white.
