- 4. Mission Statement I will inspire my students. As their teacher, I will be a dependable and positive influence. I will teach them what art can do for them through teaching the national and state standards. I will help bring out their creativity and personality so every art work would represent its artist. I will teach them to take pride in their art, but also how to take and give proper constructive criticism during critiques so they can see art through different eyes. I will teach in different learning styles so everyone will have an equal opportunity. I will be there for my students through their ups and downs.
