This I Believe Mia Lawrence Technology Fall 2009
I Believe in Hope As I have matured over the years, I know have a different value system. I believe that the simple things in life, and the little things in life make a big difference. I am not the same individual I was 10 years ago. Be patient, because I’m still growing. I now know who I am, and what my destiny is.
Education is…. Education is the key to life. It’s what makes a difference of how much money you have, where you live, and who you know. Education drives us to be the person who we want to be. Education is foremost the most important thing in life.
A Gift Education begins at birth.  All people should be educated to reach their fullest potential; academic, creative and spiritual goals. Regardless of who they are or where they came from, education is free to all. Our forefathers fought for this right. Don’t let it go to waste.
EDUCATION MAKES ME Who I am I am a Educator first, a Teacher second. I come to receive I depart to share. I come with open arms ready to receive all. I provide a caring and nurturing classroom that is safe from the outside world.
Purpose The function of schools and education, is to make a secure democracy for all. Education is for all who want to achieve.
Part of our world Education must be adaptive and flexible to the changing needs of the learner and society. The playing field is not level in education, but it’s up to me to make sure everyone gets a chance to equal opportunities.
Encouragement I Believe I should always encourage children to think critically.  This is my role as an educator. To work toward society changes, or build a bridge to teach how to make it in this world.
Promise As a Teacher I must realize that I need to know my students on a individual basis. I need to know there interest and dislikes.  As a teacher I must use there interest to teach academic context, which then will lead the academic context to connect to the world.
In the end…… I believe that education is for all. I want to be an educator who encourages, shows purpose, makes promises, and make productive citizens of the world. I believe in hope for a better tomorrow and a brighter future. If I reach just one student a day, I have accomplished my goal as an educator.   Teachers are the Guide, that Guides the learning.
