3. LOCATION
➤ The park. An open public space,
which gives the character a good
opportunity and place to smoke
a cigarette. So does it emphasise
the character being alone, since
a large amount of space is used
and shown but almost nothing
to cover the shots.
➤ A classroom. Since this is based
on bullying through school,
showing the character in school,
facing the struggle, rather than
just showing the after effects.
4. LIGHTING
➤ Natural sun lighting, as we
will be shooting out on
daylight for the park scenes.
➤ electric bulb lights and natural
sunlight for the class room
shots.
5. SOUND
➤ A dim and slow beat song as a
non diegetic sound through
out the film opening to create
a set of feelings and emotions
➤ diegetic sounds only towards
the main character as she's not
speaking to the camera but
narrating.
➤ Diegetic sounds of
surrounding, such as wind
blowing in the trees, lighting
the cigarette up, etc
6. STYLE (CLOTHING / HAIR )
➤ Casual clothing, but either tucked
in or a short crop top. In order to
express a sense of rebellious
attitude.
➤ Hair is let down, or shown flowing
in the park scenes to make her look
more feminine and fragile, for the
audience to sympathise with the
character.
➤ The shots for the classroom, her
hair should be shorter, neat. This
indicates its in the future or past,
leaving the audience to perceive the
way they desire, so does it give her
the aesthetics of a student with
neater hair in school.
