Millennials, also known as Generation Y, born between 1981-1997, make up a significant portion of today's workforce. They have different communication preferences, career ambitions, and expectations of work compared to older generations. To effectively manage and motivate Millennials, organizations should leverage the tools they are accustomed to using, provide frequent feedback and opportunities for growth, and embrace their confidence while also exercising patience. Managing across generational differences requires understanding that while needs and preferences vary between age groups, the goal of a productive, engaged workforce is shared.
