           Unit 1 : Microorganisms
Definition:
 Microorganisms is an organisms that can only
  seen through a microscope.
Virus   Protozoa
bacteria   fungi
 Microorganisms are living things.
 They undergo life process such as breathe ,
  grow and move.
 Yeast  is a fungus. It used in making bread.
 It is able rise after we mix it with flour and
  water and let the flour rest a while.
 We can see the size of dough getting bigger.
  The effect of yeast on the dough shows that
  yeast breathes.
Flour +   Dough rises
water       (yeast
+yeast     breathe)
 When  water is sprinkled on a slice of bread
  and kept in a plastic bag for a week.
 We can see black spot on the bread.
 The black spot are fungi
 This activity show that microorganisms
  grows.
Fungus
 Microorganisms moves.
 We can see the movement of microorganisms
  through a microscope.

  cough, flu, measles, chicken pox

4.   Carried by mosquitoes or flies
5.   Spread through the air
a. Washing hands before handling food
b. Covering the mouth and nose when
   coughing or sneezing
c. Washing hands after using the toilets
d. By putting patients who have chicken
   pox, conjunctivities or mump in
   quarantine.
e. By covering wounds
