This document discusses the concepts and skills of microteaching. It begins by defining microteaching as teaching a single concept or skill to a small group of students for a short period of time. It then outlines the agenda which includes the core skills of microteaching, designing a microteaching plan, presenting a microlesson, and the concept of microteaching. Several of the core skills are then described in more detail, including questioning skills, explanation skills, and stimulus variation skills. Guidelines are also provided for designing an effective microteaching plan.
