This document discusses various methods for studying bone growth, including experimental and measurement approaches. Experimental methods involve manipulating growth, such as through fluorescent labels, microelectrodes, vital staining and metallic implants. Measurement methods observe growth non-invasively using craniometry, anthropometry, radiography, histopathology and 3D imaging. Data is collected through cross-sectional, longitudinal and semi-longitudinal studies, and presented visually through tables, graphs and diagrams.
