2. Member Get Member Overview
When a YOLO customer refers another customer, they both get rewarded with
loyalty points when the new customer registers and tops up his account for the first
time. Below are the steps for a successful referral:
1. YOLO customer “A” navigates to My YOLO -> Profile -> Invite friend
2. “A” selects contact “B” from his address book whom he wants to refer to join YOLO
3. “A” is given a referral link that needs to be shared with “B” (ie via email, SMS, Whatsapp,
etc…)
4. “B” clicks the referral link, installs the YOLO app and registers for an account
5. “B” tops up his account for the first time
6. At this point, both “A” and “B” are eligible to receive Loyalty Points
7. VPD Ops team generates a report - “Member Get Member Success”, which contains
details of successful referrals
8. VPD Ops team uploads a batch file listing mobile numbers of successful referrals and
the amount of loyalty points they should be awarded
9. Once the batch file is executed, all successful referrals, including “A” and “B” are
awarded loyalty points
10. VPD Ops generates the “Member Get Member Success” report which gives details of
successful referrals (once top up has been done)
11. Create Date – date on which referral link was created
Use Date – date on which referral link was used
Referral ID – unique ID to represent the referral
Referral Status – Top-up indicates that referred member has performed his first top-up
Subscriber ID – mobile number of customer who referred the new user
Member ID – mobile number of new customer who was referred
“Member Get Member Success” report format:
12. VPD Ops periodically uploads a loyalty batch file that lists which accounts should be
credited with loyalty points
13. Mobile No – mobile number of user to which points should be credited
Loyalty Points – number of points to be credited
Role Type – role of the user (ie RETAIL_SUBSCRIBER)
