Objectives:The Community Extension Services of CETCS aims to:
1.) Develop a wholesome attitude to out of school-youth, displaced workers and
adults by implementing community extension projects and thus realize community

basic electrical wiring, basic metal installation, small engines servicing,
air conditioning and refrigeration, and PC Assembly & Troubleshooting

9.) Mold and inculcate the values of perseverance and courage to put up and

Methodolog
yThis study makes use of descriptive research method with questionnaire as
the major tool for gathering data. Purposive sampling technique was used in the study
based on the judgement of the researcher as to who can provide the best information to
achieve the objectives set in the study. The researchers only goes to those people who
in his/her opinion are likely to have the required information and be willing to share.
The researchers conduct a survey questionnaire to the training participants
during the last community extension conducted by the TCU-CETCS which 50% or
80 respondents out of 160 graduates answered the survey questionnaire.
A complete enumeration was used in seeking the trainee respondents, thus, random non
probability sampling procedure was utilized in the study.

Findings
Findings revealed that the assessment of the trainee with regards to perception
of respondent’s participation in the community extension program is high or
has a weighted mean of 4.0, the problem encountered of respondent during
the training is average or has a weighted mean of 3.78, the level of satisfaction
after the short-course training in terms of learning experience is average or
has a weighted mean of 3.7, while in terms of skills acquired is average or
has a weighted mean of 3.6. The impact of the training to the socio-economic
status of the respondents is high or has a weighted mean of 4.0.
With these findings, it magnifies that the college which is College of Engineering,
Technology and Computer Science has achieved the level of satisfaction to the nearby
Community where the trainees acquired the necessary skills and knowledge is
a great contribution.

Conclusions
Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions
were drawn. Majority of the 80 respondents in terms of
perceptions have a very high level of knowledge and skills acquired.
Most of the respondents’ encountered problems during the training
an average level and speaking of level of satisfaction
both learning experience and skills acquired have an average level also.
Lastly, there is a high level of the impact of the training to the
socio-economic status of the respondents.

Conclusions
The concluding statement states that the College of Engineering,
Technology and Computer Science has achieved the high level of
satisfaction both learning experience and skills acquired and also
the impact of the training to the socio-economic status of
the respondents.
The study is benefited not only for the Barangay Official of Central
Bicutan but also for TCU-CETCS Faculty members which serves
as the guiding factor and big contribution to the constituents of
nearby barangay.

Recommendation and Future Work
On the basis of these findings and conclusions and
in order to have voluntary and sustainable services to
the nearby community, it is recommended to allocate
in advance a proposed budget and implement a
data analytics in terms of predicting
the behaviour of the main participants.
