1. John H. Gallen Jr. is an entrepre-
neur with a proven track record
of successful and honest business
practices. With a background in
office furniture, John established
EthoSource with the idea of
providing pre-owned office furniture and liquidation services
to businesses. In 2001, John purchased his first inventory of
office furniture and immediately began selling. What began
as a one-room office in PA quickly expanded to operations
totaling 200,000 square feet between a manufacturing facility
and two retail locations.
John’s mission for EthoSource is to provide pre-owned and
new office furniture at significant cost savings, while support-
ing customers with complete design, project management
and furniture liquidation services. The key to the company’s
success has been to consistently exceed our customer’s ex-
pectations.
Though formally educated at Georgetown and Villanova
Universities, he learned the business through hands-on expe-
rience with liquidations, project management and sales. The
“secret” to John’s success has been to maximize value for cus-
tomers, create an environment heavily focused on providing
unmatched customer service and project management and to
consistently pay all vendors on time, as agreed. His reputation
in the business speaks for itself.

2. SARAH MCDANIEL
Director, Facilities
Services Division
Sarah McDaniel is a
dedicated and detailed
project manager whose
projects clearly benefit
from her involvement. Educated in Political
Science at Bloomsburg University of Pennsyl-
vania, Sarah realized very quickly in her ca-
reer that her place was in the private business
sector.
With John Gallen as her mentor,
Sarah has quickly accumulated five years
of valuable furniture industry experience in
project management, product development,
sales, logistics, accounting, business analysis
and resource management. She has been
heavily involved in the growth of EthoSource
from where it was in 2008 to about twice its
size and revenue in 2015.
As a liquidation project manager, Sar-
ah has executed large scale projects on tight
timelines with admirable levels of efficiency
and actionable communication. Her ability
to work closely with necessary personnel to
accomplish project goals has impressed all
who have worked with her. A few of Sarah’s
project listings include:
Vanguard- Wayne, PA Uquidation
1200 Workstations, 2000 Lateral Files, 1800
Chairs and 48 Private Offices were removed
over 23 days, and involved coordination be-
tween a furniture dealer, movers, an installa-
tion team, Vanguard personnel, electrical and
data contractors, security and logistics crews.
Mechoshade- Long Island, NY Installation
Four phased furniture removal and new
furniture installation project where existing
product was removed and refurbished office
furniture was installed over several months.
The project required coordination with cli-
ent personnel, a general contractor, instal-
lation crews, logistics companies, electrical
and data subcontractors and various
vendors providing and delivering new prod-
ucts on-site.
AT&T- Alpharetta, GA Liquidation
1600 Workstations removed from two
adjacent buildings over the course of eigh-
teen days. Arrangements were made with
the client, a partnering furniture dealer, an
installation group, a moving crew, security and
logistics personnel and a commercial realtor.
BLAKE BOTVIN
Procurement Manager
Blake is a detail-oriented
and pragmatic individual,
applying these traits to
every project he manag-
es. He received a degree
from Green Mountain College, and has since
assumed a number of responsiblities, provid-
ing him a broad range of experience as both a
buyer and project manager.
About 5 years after graduating, Blake
met John Gallen who convinced him that
there is a career in buying, selling and re-man-
ufacturing “cubicles.” Now, 14 years later, he
continues to lead a successful career in the
office furniture industry.
Over the years, Blake has filled the
roles of Procurement Manager, Liquidation
Specialist and Wholesale/Retail Sales Man-
ager. His experience includes a vast working
knowledge of all brands and lines of both sys-
tems furniture and freestanding case-goods,
such as seating, desks, filing and more.
Blake’s primary goals at EthoSource
include the constant search for pre-owned
Herman Miller Ethospace inventories to
purchase for stock, while maintaining the
proper inventory levels for our 100,000 sq. ft.
facility. Although this is no small task, Blake is
also very involved with the purchase, project
management and sales of furniture inventories
on a nationwide scale.
