arisen for a Mechanical Technician to join the team in Inverness, Scotland.
The Role
You will be a point of contact for all mechanical issues with the wind turbines
including upgrades and fault diagnosis. You will be expected to travel wherever
necessary on a daily basis to maintain the turbines to the highest of standards.
You will be climbing turbines and therefore would be expected to have a good
head for heights as well as the stamina to perform this integral job requirement
on a very regular basis. Mechanical Technicians work in teams and are provided
with a company vehicle, tools, appropriate work clothes and PPE.
The Candidate
In order to be considered for this role, you must have high mobility with a
willingness to move and travel, with flexibility and a sense of team spirit. You
would also ideally have experience with motors, hydraulics and pneumatics and
maintenance schedules.
Successful candidates must:
-Be a qualified Mechanic and should have experience in manufacturing, heavy
industry or the energy sector.
-Have a minimum level 3 qualification, in a mechanical or engineering discipline
or equivalent.
-Demonstrate a pro-active approach to tasks is essential
-Posses a clean and valid UK Driving Licence
