An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced mechanical engineer to join
their Current Products Team. The main purpose of the role is to provide
engineering support in the areas of product design and development,
applications, manufacturing and supply improvements and general technical
investigations during the production life-cycle of their mechanical and
hydraulic equipment. As the role has significant interaction with internal and
external customers and suppliers the ability to develop and maintain
excellent working relationships is vital to the success of this role.
The successful candidate will have:
 A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
 Relevant product, design, development and testing experience in a manufacturing
organisation, ideally with machinery and hydraulic systems.
 Highly developed 3D CAD capability and a working knowledge of structural
analysis methods and packages.
 Strong practical orientation with the ability to effectively investigate and develop
solutions to complex mechanical engineering problems.
 Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to engage
product stakeholders on multiple projects.
