Early years: Saint Helen was born in Bithynia Asia minor. It is said that her father was an English king but it was never proven. In 270 she married a man named Constantious and she is the mother of Contentine the great.
A change of life In 289 her husband divorced her to marry a more prominent women. During this time she converted to Christianity and devoted all of her time to assisting the less fortunate. When her son became king he never married so

A Journey of a Life Time In about 325 Saint Helena lead a  journey to the Holy Land to find Jesus’ cross. They traveled many day and nights. The food was so scarce that they could only have one meal a day. One day after many hours of traveling one of the people that came  along saw something in the distance at first he thought it was a mirage, but than another man saw it. Soon the word traveled and Saint  Helena found out and everyone traveled toward the image.
The Great Discovery It turns out that man found they all had been looking for. The one and only Jesus' cross!!!! Saint Helena was astonished that she actually found the saviors cross. She couldn’t believe the that Jesus had actually died on this cross. She was a very intelligent women so to be sure of the true cross they all brought the three crosses to a women who came with them on this trip but grew to be very sick and was on her death bed she touched the first two crosses and nothing happened, but upon  touching the third cross she was miraculously heeled. This was one of saint Helena’s 1 st  medicals.
Specific facts  When saint Helena was a young girl when she wanted to devote her time to Jesus Christ. She was a very beautiful women who attracted many people. She eventually married Constantious a general who later become emperor of Rome. It was a happy marriage until he divorced her for a women who was more politically connected. There are multiple churches devoted to her, but there is also the saint Helena diocese in Montana.
Death of the empress  In 330 Saint Helena died of natural causes  On her death bed she said I shall go in peace for I am satisfied with my life. she has been dead for many years but her story will go on forever.
Fun Facts Her name means light or torch She is seen in many pictures holding a cross. She was usually wearing blue and red
