1) St. Terese the little flower was a 19th century French patriot saint who lived with her family and later became a Carmelite nun. 2) She was one of 4 children, with 3 sisters, one of whom died and the other two also became nuns. 3) Although initially too young to join the Carmelite order like her sisters, St. Terese begged the Pope and was allowed to join at age 14 for her courage. She focused on small acts of love and kindness.
