Anaerobic digestion for biogas production is vital in sewage sludge management. This paper focuses on the design and development of an anaerobic bio-digester that can be utilized for biogas production utilizing Acti-zyme as the digestion bio-catalyst from sewage sludge. A stainless steel lab scale bio-digester with a capacity of 390 L/day and an operating efficiency of 75% was considered. The bio-digester allowed for addition of both the Acti-zyme and sewage sludge, the removal of the biogas and bio-solids generated during the digestion process. Process and equipment safety was ensured by maintaining the temperature at 35°C, pressure at 1 atmosphere as well as ensuring the flow of the substrate was maintained at 75% to minimize as operational hazards. Agitation was maintained at 60 rpm for uniform mixing whilst pH was maintained at 7 for enhancing Acti-zyme activity. The anaerobic bio-digester can either be up scaled or downscaled for application in sewage sludge management using Acti-zyme.

A biodigester toilet is a single solution to both of these major issues; it provides an integrated waste management facility that will convert human excreta into clean-burning biogas, which can be used for cooking, heating, and lighting. Extensive research was conducted to obtain the background knowledge required to design a biodigester system that would be capable of successfully producing biogas while also providing an alternative to unsafe sanitation practices.
A dual tank digester design was chosen, to provide a clarification tank as a precursor to effluent post-treatment. A thorough risk assessment was performed before construction and testing of a prototype was conducted.

Over the years Cooling Tower treatment involves heavy use of chemicals. Unfortunately these chemicals are not only costly, but also adds minerals in the water. This reduces Cycles Of Concentration [COC] & as a result in high blow down & more make up water demand. Using ozone operating cost is drastically reduced & blow down water quantity also reduces.
In this design, the digester chamber is made of brick masonry in cement mortar. A mild steel drum is placed on top of the digester to collect the biogas produced from the digester. Thus, there are two separate structures for gas production and collection. With the introduction of fixed dome Chinese model plant, the floating drum plants became obsolete because of comparatively high investment and maintenance cost along with other design weaknesses.

CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.

It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. • Acti-zyme addition during anaerobic treatment of
sewage promotes bio-nutrient removal
