Position Purpose
Coordination and control of data for all key computerised asset management and engineering systems to
ensure asset reliability for key processing plants and field facilities. Includes stewardship and support of the
incorporation of new projects into the asset management system ensuring data integrity, governance and
process compliance.
Key Accountabilities
EHS Accountabilities
• Adopting and promoting personal work practices and procedures for all activities performed in
accordance with Santos Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) standards and
legislative requirements;
• Demonstrating leadership and commitment to continuous improvement in EHS performance to Santos
personnel and contractors on EHS issues;
• Continuously improve Maintenance Services EHS performance and ensure standards and targets are
met or exceeded;
• Execute the EHS strategy within the Engineering and Projects team including EHS and EPA
Governance and compliance
• Ensure Maintenance processes meet or exceed applicable standards to achieve flawless execution and
improved process safety and plant reliability performance to safely meet production targets and
customer requirements.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ensure consistency and integration of EHSMS, work practices and
improvement strategies for the operational areas of EABU.
Leadership Accountabilities
• Coordinate and steward the review and application of asset strategy and master data to new and existing
equipment/plant including location hierarchies, asset management data, classifications, attributes, PM
programs, planning activities, asset documentation, materials specifications, P&ID, data sheet and
instructional validation.
• Manage master data change requests (MDCR), inclusive of distribution to relevant change owners.
• Ability to lead hierarchy review and asset verification projects.
• Manage E&P reporting requirements inclusive of RAMMS dashboards, maintenance KPI’s, statutory and
safety critical compliance, data auditing and integrity and authoring of adhoc reports to assist business
decisions relating to asset management.
• Support maintenance planning, scheduling and execution teams with interpretation of works management
data and associated systems and interfaces.
• This position requires the coordination of a number of Santos resources involved in delivering new projects
and the ongoing support of asset management.
• Reviews of failure data and other historical data to determine the best fit maintenance strategy and liaise
with key engineering strategy groups.
• Apply works management data standards via desktop sessions with relevant site personnel, reliability
engineers, and OEM technical experts
• Attend forums relating to strategy based on FMEA, RCM, or existing JPs and PM’s for new/changed

• Updating strategy data to align with RMP requirements, collaboration with key engineering and projects
departments
• Liaising with engineering, maintenance and operations to initiate changes to design or procedures for new
equipment as identified during RCM analysis
• Liaising with the integrity management groups to consolidate or integrate PM activities
• Liaising with site teams to validate equipment strategy, PM’s, Job Plans and determine scheduling
alignment rationale
• Manage PM change requests relating to new equipment:
Providing immediate assessment of all requests relating to new equipment, respond to originator
with timelines, requests for further information etc.
Negotiate with the various project groups to set realistic priorities and timeframes
Provide regular status and KPI reporting and feedback to management, peers and system users.
• Utilisation of engineering and reporting and analytics tools to provide integrity and audit information to all
assets and department leads.
Operations Accountabilities
• Provide governance, auditing and benchmarking of EABU maintenance performance against Santos
maintenance and works management business processes, KPIs and external leading practice targets
• Provide formal and hands on reliability business process and systems training based on needs analysis,
business strategy and business requirements
• Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency and integration of work practices and consistent delivery of
maintenance improvement strategies across all EABU operational areas.
• Provide support and resources to address issues with CAMS functionality, configuration and master data as
identified by the Maintenance Services Team and EABU operational areas.
Business Performance Accountabilities
• Participate in the EABU governance forums and collaborative process to effectively deliver targeted
business outcomes across all areas;
• Assist Engineering, Projects and Maintenance leaders in data gathering and analysis in support of the
formal monthly and quarterly EABU performance reviews;
• Identify and drive improvement processes that assist asset areas to increase reliability, meet operational
targets and reduce operating costs.

Essential Qualifications
• Trade qualification essential (asset management background)
• Engineering (or similar) qualification advantageous.
• Advanced computer and database skills.
• High level CAMS experience with applications such as Oracle eAM, Maximo, SAP, etc.

3. • 5+ years in operational or technical roles in the Oil and Gas or similar industry;
• Strong knowledge of safe work practices, Oil production operations and reliability processes;
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in change and use of change management processes.
• Experience in a business improvement role (lean continuous improvement)
• Maintenance experience with mechanical, instrumentation or electrical equipment
• Report writing exposure, good understanding of SQL data bases and solid data interpretation skills
