JOB POSITION : ENGINEERING MANAGER FUNCTION : BUSINESS OPERATIONS LOCATION: INDIA – BANGALORE Main Accountabilities: • To assess the performance and characteristics of operational DB2 SAP systems across and improve their efficiency and effectiveness. • Perform quality assurance reviews of current Landscape documentation and ensure any shortcomings are addressed with regards accuracy, review process and standardization. • Assist the SAP Discipline Manager in the monitoring and reviewing of effectiveness of DB2 within the SAP landscape • To provide expert level DB2 support to EC, assist in subsequent root cause analysis • Review current DB2 operational and build procedures used within the team including any overlap areas (e.g. Operational Acceptance), with a view to improving in line with industry best practice. • Ensure the highest levels of security in the DB2 database are achieved by reviewing current DB2 security standards, to implement best practice across the SAP landscape in line with current Security Policies. • Identify and plan for managing anticipated risks (project implementation, BAU changes, trends). • Represent the team at technical design meetings to ensure DB2 best practice and experience is built into solutions. JOB POSITION: TRANSPORTATION SME FUNCTION: GLOBAL IT INNOVATION LOCATION: INDIA – BANGALORE Main Accountabilities: • Assist delivery of all agreed IT-related projects for the Transportation area, from Feasibility phase to completion • In the Ideas phase, provide support to Business Engagement in driving clarity of business requirements, high level design, cost and time estimates to facilitate the production of high quality charters • Assist/Lead during Feasibility and Capability phases for the translation of business requirements into a functional specification and specific work packages for call-off from service design and service introduction functions • Work in close partnership with the Solution Delivery Managers to ensure on-time and on-budget execution of application changes for all key projects and programmes • Work with Lead SME to ensure that the Project Delivery Process as defined by the Global PMO is adhered to • Help build and retain level 1 SME capability and provide resource to deliver the functional IT Roadmap • Support the Lead SME, Functional BP’s (Business Partners) and the Global PMO to undertake Transportation innovation projects • Support the Application Landscape for the functional area, driving application convergence as required (Local > Regional > Global) • Help ensure agreed changes are correctly integrated with solutions in other functional areas • Help ensure Technical and Security standards established by S&T are implemented and adhered to during design and implementation • Help ensure solution resilience and provide functional expertise on both technical and functional fixes/changes.
