19. Flooring 19
Laminated Floors are made by compressing several layers of materials ranging from HDF (High
Density Fiber) and other conglomerated woods, decorated with a high-tech photographic printed
paper on top to simulate real wood. It is usually finished with several coats of aluminum oxide to protect
the product from decoloration and wear. It is an industry with over 35 years of development and has
become one of the best options when it comes to floor covering. This alternative to hardwood &
engineered floors offer great durability and beautiful looks at a very low cost and simple mainteinance.
Parkay manufactures most laminate flooring collections CARB 2 certified.
Engineered hardwood flooring is a product made up of a core of hardwood, plywood or HDF
and a top layer of hardwood veneer. This product has the natural characteristics of the selected wood
species. The “engineered” product has been designed to provide greater stability, particularly where
moisture or heat pose problems for solid hardwood floors.
Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring (LVP) is a layered product construction. The base layer is
made primarily of PVC vinyl. In addition, a mid layer of fiberglass offers flexibility as well as dimensional
stability. The decorative PVC film is laid on top of the base layer. The wearlayer is typically a clear vinyl
and includes a urethane coating that provides superior protection from everyday wear and tear. This
product closely mimics the look of a natural material through realistic images and textures. Is typically
use on commercial application and high moisture areas. Nowadays, some of the LVP comes with a
click system, which makes it more affordable an easier to install.
XPS Flooring is a %100 waterproof layered material. Different from vinyl floors which molds to
the uneven surface, XPS has an extra rigid core made out of stone powder and polymers that does not
show the floor small imperfections. It’s top layer offers 3D printing technology which adds depth and
realism, durability and high performance. It’s click system allows floating installation or glued down
when required. Ideal for commercial purposes, XPS is now been more often use residentially, due to it
moisture proof capability and beautiful looks.
We also distribute a wide range of hardwoods, porcelain, ceramic tiles, and even artificial turf; all of
them on a special order basis.
Ask your representative for available CARB 2 collections, specifications may change without notice.

commonly used to reduce the sound transmission, to protect your floors from moisture or to level
your subfloor.
We also carry a wide selection of Pre-Installation products like flooring adhesives, used for installing
solid hardwood and engineered hardwood floors as well as floor primers, patches and levelers to
ensure an optimal sub-floor before the installation.
We distribute several Finishing products, designed to make your work easier and to provide the last
touches, so your work has that professional look that your customers expect. We also offer a variety of
floor cleaners, caulking and sealants, and even wood fillers.
We carry a wide selection of Tools to simplify any installation. From floor installation kits, knee pads,
and trowels to professional laminate floor cutters and more.
