Masjid-e-Quba, located south of Madina, is the second largest mosque in the city and holds great historical significance as it was built in the first year of the Islamic calendar by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The mosque has undergone various renovations throughout history, particularly by Caliph Uthman and, more recently, by the Saudi government, making it an architectural feat with modern facilities and the capacity to accommodate over twenty thousand worshipers. Its unique features include a hadith from the Prophet emphasizing the spiritual rewards of praying there, and it now boasts multiple entrances, domes, and a dedicated area for women's worship.
