I have undertaken Marketing of Mobiles as I have a keen interest
in mobiles.
The project deals in the launch of mobiles handsets. The brand
name of my firm is Vavix Mobiles which is about to launch its
first handset VX201 & the features being as follows:

oAndroid 4.1 Jellybean
o10MP camera with LED flash
o5MP front camera
oBluetooth 4.0
oWifi
oNavigator
oE-book reader
o1024*600 pixcels
oHD videos

o Wholesaler- Rs. 11,865
o Retailer- Rs. 13,288
The above prices are calculated on the following percentage:

FAVORITE TOPIC
My favorite topic in the project isWays of Promotion as
promotion ensures that the customers are aware of the product
which has just entered the market.
It also persuades them to buy the product and remind them
continuously about why they may want to buy it.
The ways which I have selected to promote mobiles are:
o Display advertisements in newspapers
o Radio advertisements
o Hoardings
o Web advertising through social networking sites
o Sms advertisements 7
SUMMARY
The world’s first mobile was invented by Motorola in 1973 which
weighed 1 kg.
The importance of mobiles has changed tremendously over the
years. Mobiles have become a necessity as nowadays hawkers
are also seen having them.This is mainly due to marketing of
mobiles.
Vavix Mobiles will cater to the needs from youngsters to elderly
as the mobiles are with latest technology & are affordable.
The firm plans to produce 2000 handsets, 1000 will be stored in
warehouses & the rest be will be sent to the market. Roadways will
be selected for transportation.Two level channel will be used for
the distribution of mobiles.The project also discusses the different
ways of promotion, cost effective techniques & schemes. 8

  • 4. I have undertaken Marketing of Mobiles as I have a keen interest in mobiles. The project deals in the launch of mobiles handsets. The brand name of my firm is Vavix Mobiles which is about to launch its first handset VX201 & the features being as follows: o5.2” full touch screen oAndroid 4.1 Jellybean o10MP camera with LED flash o5MP front camera oBluetooth 4.0 oWifi oNavigator oE-book reader o1024*600 pixcels oHD videos INTRODUCTION 4 Communication Simplified

  • 7. FAVORITE TOPIC My favorite topic in the project isWays of Promotion as promotion ensures that the customers are aware of the product which has just entered the market. It also persuades them to buy the product and remind them continuously about why they may want to buy it. The ways which I have selected to promote mobiles are: o Display advertisements in newspapers o Radio advertisements o Hoardings o Web advertising through social networking sites o Sms advertisements 7
  • 8. SUMMARY The world’s first mobile was invented by Motorola in 1973 which weighed 1 kg. The importance of mobiles has changed tremendously over the years. Mobiles have become a necessity as nowadays hawkers are also seen having them.This is mainly due to marketing of mobiles. Vavix Mobiles will cater to the needs from youngsters to elderly as the mobiles are with latest technology & are affordable. The firm plans to produce 2000 handsets, 1000 will be stored in warehouses & the rest be will be sent to the market. Roadways will be selected for transportation.Two level channel will be used for the distribution of mobiles.The project also discusses the different ways of promotion, cost effective techniques & schemes. 8
