 Develop a sales promotion strategy for
sugar candies, chocolates and processed
fruit bars.
Sales promotion strategies are used by
product manufacturers as a means of getting
consumers to take a specific action, such as
purchasing a product. Promotional strategies
are typically short-term in nature, trying to get
consumers to act quickly before the promotion
expires. Advertising is often used in conjunction
with a sales promotion as a means to get the
promotional message out to the consumer.
The sales promotion strategy of chocolates for
children are as follows:
 Advertisement
It is the most important strategy that can be
used for chocolates. Attractive advertisement
always create a greater impact on children and
urges a children to buy a product. It is focussed
on all people.
 Attractive Packages
Attractive packages are urges the customer to
buy the product. It is mainly focussed on children. A
50mm square of rich, dark chocolate with your
brand or logo printed in white chocolate on the top.
Squares can be supplied as individual squares sealed
in clear cellophane, or loose packed in gift packs.
 Shapes
Different shapes of a product always attract the
people to buy the product. Usually shapes of the
product are always focuses on children. Chocolate
coins are available in bulk or in mesh nylon bags.
Mesh bags can be labelled with a card printed with
your message.
 Special Offers
Offers always attract the people to buy
the product. It will provides the people to buy
the product if they are provided with attractive
offers. Offers are provided to focus on all people.
For example, offering 10% extra to a product or
providing offers like buy 1 get 1 free. This all
will attract the people to buy the product.
 Free samples
Providing free samples to different retailers
shop in different places that helps to increase the
sales in over all place. Sample are always helps to
know whether the product is good or not.
 Signboards, posters and leaflets
Rural customers are unlikely to have
access to television, but may have access to a radio
or to newspapers. However, posters or signboards
in villages is likely to reach more people. Tourists
are unlikely to use radio, TV or newspapers, but
may see signboards or kiosk advertisements and
buy the product along tourist routes.
The sales promotion strategy of sugar candies
are as follows:

Attractive packages are urges the customer
to buy the product. It is mainly focussed on

  • 2.  Develop a sales promotion strategy for sugar candies, chocolates and processed fruit bars.
  • 3. Sales promotion strategies are used by product manufacturers as a means of getting consumers to take a specific action, such as purchasing a product. Promotional strategies are typically short-term in nature, trying to get consumers to act quickly before the promotion expires. Advertising is often used in conjunction with a sales promotion as a means to get the promotional message out to the consumer.
  • 4. The sales promotion strategy of chocolates for children are as follows:  Advertisement It is the most important strategy that can be used for chocolates. Attractive advertisement always create a greater impact on children and urges a children to buy a product. It is focussed on all people.
  • 5.  Attractive Packages Attractive packages are urges the customer to buy the product. It is mainly focussed on children. A 50mm square of rich, dark chocolate with your brand or logo printed in white chocolate on the top. Squares can be supplied as individual squares sealed in clear cellophane, or loose packed in gift packs.  Shapes Different shapes of a product always attract the people to buy the product. Usually shapes of the product are always focuses on children. Chocolate coins are available in bulk or in mesh nylon bags. Mesh bags can be labelled with a card printed with your message.
  • 6.  Special Offers Offers always attract the people to buy the product. It will provides the people to buy the product if they are provided with attractive offers. Offers are provided to focus on all people. For example, offering 10% extra to a product or providing offers like buy 1 get 1 free. This all will attract the people to buy the product.
  • 7.  Free samples Providing free samples to different retailers shop in different places that helps to increase the sales in over all place. Sample are always helps to know whether the product is good or not.  Signboards, posters and leaflets Rural customers are unlikely to have access to television, but may have access to a radio or to newspapers. However, posters or signboards in villages is likely to reach more people. Tourists are unlikely to use radio, TV or newspapers, but may see signboards or kiosk advertisements and buy the product along tourist routes.
