3.  Manchester United Soccer Club (MUSC) was
created in 1992 in Manchester, New Hampshire
(USA) to bring recreational players to a higher
level of competition and to prepare them for the
State Olympic Development Program and/or high
school teams.
 The Board of Directors of MUSC decided to
organize a summer soccer tournament to
generate revenue.
 MUSC regularly competes in 3 – 4 tournaments
every summer.
 These tournaments have been reported to
generate between $50,000 - $70,000

4.  In her role as the Tournament Director of
MUSC, Nicolette was tasked to organize the
club’s first summer tournament.
 She proposed a committee brainstorming
session which ended up being a “free-for-all”
of ideas and suggestions with no prescribed
