O Organization Change occurs when business strategies or major sections of an
organization are altered, involves reviewing and modifying management structures
and business processes
O It is defined as a change that has significant effects on the way work is performed
in an organization.
O Change Management, is however the comprehensive, cyclic & structured
approach to changing individuals, teams and organizations that enables the
transition from a current state to a desired future state with an intended business
benefits
O Typically, Organizational Change is used to describe organization-wide change,
as opposed to smaller changes such as modifying a program, adding a new staff
etc.
O Examples of organization change include change in mission, restructuring
operations, new technologies, mergers & acquisition, Strategic Realignment
etc.
