GOOD MORNING,
Grade 10 PEARL!
REPRODUCTIVE
SYSTEM
Objectives:
• At the end of the session, the students are
able to:
a.Label the parts of the male
reproductive organ;
b.identify the functions of each
part of the male reproductive
organ; and
c.trace the pathway of sperm.
SUBJECT MATTER:
Unlocking of terms:
Reproduction - process by which living
things produce new individuals of the same
type
Masturbation – act of stimulating the
genitals to give sexual pleasure
Ejaculation – the action of ejecting semen
from the body
Sperm Cells – sex cells of male
Testis - produces sperms
Epididymis – where the sperms are
deposited
Scrotum – sac of skin that holds the
testis
Penis – deposits sperms into the vagina
during mating
Vas deferens (tube) – carries sperm from
testes to urethra
Urethra – carries sperm and urine out of
the body
Glands – provide liquid in which sperm can
swim
 seminal vesicle – secretes a fluid that
makes up most of the components of
the semen
 prostate gland - secretes a slightly
milky fluid that is discharged as part of
the semen
 bulbourethral gland – secretes a thick
and clear mucus that lubricates and
neutralizes the any trace of acidic urine
in the urethra

What to do?
1. Proceed with your group mates and
form a circle. Always wait for the
teacher to say, GO before you
proceed.
2. Given the materials, assemble the
pieces of puzzle properly and paste
it on your cartolina.
3. Once your group is done, leader
must hold their assembled puzzle
and show it to the whole class.
