Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female education who survived an assassination attempt by the Taliban at age 15. She continues to advocate for education rights through her foundation and was the youngest Nobel Peace Prize laureate for her work promoting education for girls. Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban for her activism promoting girls' education in Pakistan but recovered in England where she now lives due to threats on her life.
