Making a ZENTANGLE

Supplies: Use a 4x4” square of white paper, pencil, and black gel pen.

Step 1: Move in about ¼” from each corner and draw a dot with a
pencil. You should have four dots when you finish.

Step 2: Connect the four dots with a pencil. You will make a nice
border on each square.

Step 3: Using a gel pen, draw a diagonal line across the card connecting
two dots, but do not use a straight line. Instead use either wavy, curvy,
curly, loopy, zig-zag, or jagged line.

Step 4: Using a gel pen, draw a diagonal line across the card connecting
the last two remaining dots, but do not use a straight line. Instead use
either wavy, curvy, curly, loopy, zig-zag, or jagged line.

Last: Fill in the blank areas of your card with patterns using your gel
pen. Below are some examples of completed zentangles.
