13. Typical Scenarios of 3G Network
•3G is ideal for backup link:
Price difference between leased line and 3G link * n months equals to the
price of a new Maipu 3G router.
Customer has larger bandwidth, lower channel rental fee.
Maipu real Dual 3G solution:
Two independent 3G modules working separately.
Fake dual 3G solution is 2 SIM cards on one module, only one SIM card is
active.
Disadvantage of fake dual 3G: if router doesn’t support selecting better
signal, it can be working in the bad 3G channel, but if it supports selecting
better signal, the switchover will cause at lease half minute network down.
3G SIM card is better than USB dongle, more stable, no compatible problem
and more safe.
