1. FTTH soultion has been best technology for the GiGa service because low cost optical cable, easy installation and device price down
2. Optical Lan with Use UTP cable, it’s been development 2 pairs ( 4 lines) 500Mbps as Giga service. Now, 2 pairs 1G would be hot item.
3. Phone line, it becomes hot items recently because G.now and G.fast solution are shown in market today.
4. The main line of cable TV, coax cable, DOCSIS3.1 solution is only one solution for the Giga internet service but the service is withdraw
because it needs too much cost. Therefore, instead of DOCSIS system, G.hn EoC is emerging as a good alternative in low cost terms.

Dear all,
I am so existed/proud to share news that KT announced Gigawire2.0(1Gbps service over 1pair Phone line) on Sep30.
And so much appreciate to all colleague involved in this project with hard work in day and night specially in Spain G.hn R&D team.
We expect ramp up from FY18 in KT/LGU+ and Global carriers to get rid of xDSL system.(Turktel, PLDT, Globe, and Many other regional SP in global).
And G.now has been shown to us that remarkable 900Mbps down (avg was 700Mbps in 100m)performance in bundled phone line hi reliability even worst bundled copper condition.
This performance is enough to make a threat to FTTH deployment and G.fast which revealed which is not suitable in high density building(MDU/APT)and IPTV which required high fidelity seamless
in QOS.
These have been confirmed in LGU+ and PLDT during their trial service in real field(MDU).
Highlight of Gigawire2.0 are that it has capability to offer remarkable performance and high reliability to load Gigabit internet and seamless 4K TV over legacy any copper(UTP, Phone, COAX)
in 1~2pair of it with auto negotiation feature.
Reliability point of you, none of legacy DSL technology even G.fast over copper can beat it specially in old and high signal crosstalk environment.
We also proud of fast link up less than 5sec and high capacity over 1000 Port with device stacking up in same bundle cable.

2.5 EPON OLT : U9016B
The U9016B is a PON Optical Line Termination(OLT) with 2RU height of compact
Its front access design allows rapid installation and reduced maintenance time. The U9016B OLT can be used for
various passive optical network applications such as FTTH, FTTB, and FTTC.
The U9016B is designed to accept 1 (one) SCU (Switch and Control Unit), 2 (two) PSUs (Power Supply Units), 2 (two)
PIUs (PON Interface Units), and 1(one) FMU(Fan Module Unit).
The SCU has built-in 4 x 1000Base-X (SFP) ports and 2 x 10GBase-R (SFP+) ports for uplinks.
The PSUs are hot swappable and supports load-balancing.
The PIU is an interface card with 8 (eight) PON ports. The PIUs of U9016B are fully compatible with the U9264H, a
high density OLT model, which allows service providers to reduce CAPEX and OPEX when they build Passive Optical
Networks in combination of U9016B and U9264H.
At the user side, the U9016B terminates PON links and connects ONUs or ONTs over PON. At the network side, it
terminates Gigabit Ethernet or 10G Ethernet links (GE/10GE) for Service Node Interfaces(SNIs). The SNIs of U9016B
can be bind in LACP protocol to connect to the aggregation switch for link protection.
The U9016B can be configured and managed by the Command Line Interface (CLI) locally. It can be also managed
remotely by the secure SSH command line or through the Simple Network Management Protocol Version 3
(SNMPv3). For remote management, out-of-band and in-band management modes are supported.

GPON OLT in Network Access Technical Requirements. It fully supports CTC2.0, automatic discovery and
