How I describe myself?
I am multi skills person can adapt managerial, engineering and technical levels; this came from my
educational back ground as electronics engineer specialist in Electronic Control Systems (ECS) and this
strength grown over years of work in industry.
Practically I look to any equipment, machine or instrument as a system/ systems and deal with from my
position as a manager, engineer or technician in installation, operation, troubleshooting or maintaining to
achieve targeted goals like completion installation at scheduled time, excellent operational performance,
logical troubleshooting or perfect maintaining programs taking into consideration in any position to
maximize productivity, maintain quality and optimizing time.
As manager, engineer or technician I know what is required from me and exactly what is required from
my subordinate because I was in their positions, this help me to take decisions, to organize, to plan, to
supervise, to handle responsibility and to achieve goals.
I am serious, professional, team player, believe that proper communication, cooperation will lead to a
smooth running successful and profitable operation.
I have around 20 years of experience in polypropylene extrusion industry for different products like heat
seal-able films, carpet yarns, supubond/ meltblown/ staple Fiber which are the raw materials for packing,
carpet and non-woven fabric industries in addition to experience in electrical cables industry.
I have been working mainly in plant operations in production as production engineer for 5 years and in
maintenance as electrical technician, instrumentation and control engineer, electromechanical engineer,
maintenance engineer, head of electrical department and finally as maintenance manager.

Reporting to factory manager, handled machines electrical installation and established maintenance
department.
The company is producing Staple fiber and geotextile nonwoven.
Machines are from France, Germany and Italy.
Control systems are by SIEMENS; PLCS (S7 300/400), SINAMIC Drives...etc.

2. Duties:
 At project phase handled all machines electrical/ control installation using company’s internal
resources and material from local market without any type of supervision from machines
manufacturers.
 At start up phase established maintenance department; system, manpower, cmms, tools and
maintenance programs.
During operations
 Performing and maintaining department system which includes policies, procedures and forms.
 Estimating, staying within, and working in reducing department budget.
 Providing, optimizing all resources; man power, tools, spares…etc to the department.
 Working on keeping production process at best level by reducing maintenance cost to minimum.

I was handled responsibility of Electrical department in the cable plant.
The company is producing electrical cables in low and medium voltage range.

Control, electrical and instrumentation systems are mainly for most machines are from SIEMENS like S7
300/400, Master Drives...etc.
Duties:
 Responsible for the entire maintenance function in the department, including planning, supervising,
and engineering staffs.
 Coordinates closely with counterparts in other departments.
 Takes responsibility for planning, cost control, union activities, vacation planning, etc.
 Receiving, processing and assigning work requisitions.
 Handling directly failures related to programmable logic controllers, motor drives, human machine

SAAF is in Saudi Arabia, it has 2 extrusion lines and 1 treatment line in addition to utilities and facilities
machines suppliers are mainly German, extruded bonded filaments are the product which is used in
hygienic industries, medical industries…etc, Polypropylene is the main raw material.
Control System is SIEMENS S7 (200, 300, 400), Instrumentation are from different suppliers like
dynisco, banner...etc.
I joined production lines suppliers in installing and commissioning machines in 2001, 2003 and 2005.

3. From start date till summer of 2004 I was working as Instrumentation and Control Engineer
Duties:
I was responsible about the following I&C Systems
 temperature control systems (sensors, controllers, communication bus, actuators, heaters)
 Pressure control systems (pressure transducers, pressure controllers).
 Motor speed controllers (AC/DC Drives, encoders...etc.)
 Chilled and water pumping system
 HVAC Control system (sensors, control valves, temperature controllers, dampers actuators, fan
drives...etc)
 Boilers control systems.
 Fire alarm and fire fighting systems.
 Programmple logic controllers and HMI.
My responsibility covers all requirements of these systems in programming, maintaining,
troubleshooting, replacing, upgrading and ordering spares.
From summer of 2004 till Nov. 2009 I handled responsibility of Electrical Maintenance Engineer beside
my job as I&C Engineer

Numag BCF line. my responsibilities were covering all maintenance department activities and I
was reporting to the technical manager.
Duties:
 Responding to work requests from other departments and generating work order to do
required maintenance job.
 Preparing, generating and processing preventive maintenance tasks for old machines
and newly installed machines.
 Ordering, monitoring and maintaining spare parts and tools
 Follow up ISO issues.
 Follow up man power issues in the department.
 Handling company projects like installing new production lines
 Follow up with equipment failures and doing necessary corrective actions.
 Leading maintenance team in troubleshooting major electric and electronic faults
 Doing modifications and upgrading of machines.

4. 1995-2000: Production Engineer (NAMECO) Mafraq-Jordan
One of NAMECO factories is the BOPP line which produces heat seal able films that are used in
packaging industries. Polypropylene is the main raw material. machine supplier is BRUCKNER.

 Carrying out production plan as per production schedule with the predetermined quantity and quality
 Determining required raw material for the products and coordinating for issuing
 Setting process parameters (material percentages, temperatures, line speed…etc)

