Mail migration to office 365 measure and estimate mail migration throughput...Eyal Doron
The document discusses mail migration throughput when migrating to Office 365. It provides data on expected throughput rates for different migration methods like cutover, staged, and hybrid migrations. The throughput is higher for hybrid migration, which uses EWS, compared to cutover and staged migrations, which use MAPI/RPC. Throughput is also higher for migrating multiple mailboxes concurrently compared to a single mailbox. The document uses this data to calculate estimated migration times for sample scenarios migrating mailboxes of different sizes, either as single mailboxes or in batches. It concludes by describing a mail migration calculator tool created based on the provided throughput data.
The document discusses taking a structured approach to analyzing workloads for cloud migration. It recommends characterizing individual workloads to understand their technical requirements and costs. An automated workload analysis tool can help identify which workloads are best suited for different cloud environments based on factors like compatibility, costs, and migration difficulty. The analysis provides recommendations on prioritizing workloads for cloud migration to maximize benefits.

Cloud Migration steps for moving On-premise applications to AWS Cloud.pptxFlentas
Cloud migration refers to the process of moving a company's operations and infrastructure to the cloud. As the leading cloud service provider, AWS assists many organizations in achieving a smooth application migration process and operating their operations from the cloud.
Cloud-based service installations may or may not be identical to their on-premise counterparts. The enterprise controls all of the facilities in on-premise applications, often on the same connection. As a result, substantial reforms are needed before the application and its dependencies may be hosted on the cloud.
When dealing with many on-premise apps, the danger and time soar. To relocate a single application from on-premises to AWS, we must go through all five parts. Some may take quite some time or be repetitious and be subject to error.
Hiring a cloud service provider can solve the problem mentioned above by saving you time and money while allowing you to focus only on your business operations.
In your migration journey, having a reliable partner on your side, such as Flentas, who shares your goal and provides the best solutions for you, is critical.

IRJET- A Review on Performance Enhancement of Web Services using Tagged-Sub O...IRJET Journal
This document discusses improving the performance of web services by compressing SOAP messages. It first provides background on web services and SOAP, noting that serializing large SOAP responses is a major bottleneck. It then discusses using compression algorithms like Tagged Sub-optimal Code (TSC) and Huffman encoding to reduce the size of SOAP messages and speed up transmission. The paper proposes comparing the performance of web services compressed with TSC versus uncompressed and versus those compressed with Huffman encoding. It reviews related work on using techniques like differential serialization to improve SOAP performance.
This document provides background information and context for developing an intranet mailing system. It discusses problems with the existing 2-tier system including high maintenance costs, placing logic on client systems, and security risks from storing data on clients. The document then outlines aims and objectives for a new intranet mailing system to provide secure internal communications. It also provides an overview of the spiral model software development methodology and considers it appropriate for this project.
This document describes a mail server project developed using Java. The mail server allows users within an intranet environment to communicate via electronic mail. It handles sending, receiving, and storing of emails. The project is divided into client and server modules. The client module uses Outlook Express for mailing, while the server module implements SMTP and uses servlets coded in Java. Key features include a global address book, support for POP3 and SMTP protocols, and security. The project was tested for errors and feasibility was analyzed. The mail server provides a user-friendly system to facilitate internal email communication.
How Using Microsoft Office 365 Can Benefit Your OrganisationBright Technology
The growth of cloud infrastructure in recent years has led to a surge in popularity of Software as a Service (SaaS) packages such as Microsoft Office 365. This popularity stems from a variety of factors, including ease of use, reduced costs, and automatic updates. Recent research by IDC demonstrates that businesses are increasingly using cloud-first procurement strategies. As
a result of this and other factors, IDC forecasts that global public revenue from IT cloud services will grow at over 19% through 2019, nearly 6 times the growth rate of IT spending growth as a whole – with spending on SaaS leading the way. Currently, almost 80% of businesses deploy or fully embrace the cloud, according to IDC. Furthermore, the percentage of companies expressing no
interest in the cloud has declined to 8% from 21% in 2014. The cloud has truly become a mainstream IT tool for most businesses, offering enhanced productivity enabling companies to improve the efficiency of their operations. This guide will explain why the cloud matters to SMEs (small and medium-size enterprises) as well as covering in detail the various features and benefits of the Microsoft Office 365 cloud bundle.

The document discusses why organizations are vulnerable to spoof and phishing email attacks. It notes that most organizations do not have effective defenses against these attacks and will likely experience them at some point. It also examines common misconceptions that cause the threats to be ignored, such as thinking an attack won't happen, being too busy with other issues, and believing defenses are already adequate. The document explores weaknesses that attackers exploit, such as flaws in the SMTP protocol and human factors. It outlines additional obstacles to addressing these threats, such as fears of impacting email flow or business activities. The document concludes there are no simple solutions due to the sophistication of phishing attacks and complexity of email infrastructure defenses.

Smtp relay in office 365 environment troubleshooting scenarios - part 4#4Eyal Doron
This document discusses troubleshooting SMTP relay issues when sending mail from an on-premises server to Office 365. It describes simulating mail flow using a Telnet client to test connectivity and permissions. The first test, where the source and destination addresses matched the relay credentials, succeeded. The second test, using a different source address, failed due to lack of "Send As" permission, which was revealed by examining log files on the relay server. Proper permissions need to be configured to allow the relay to send on behalf of other client addresses.
